Hi all, thought I pop in before I'm back to work tomorrow and give you another freebie. It's a golden oldie ,lol- this was on my blog years ago , but it was so popular that I decided to put it up again. It's perfect for Valentines Day ...gotta love Tatty Teddy! I have quite a few of these cuties sitting in my bedroom. Yeah...I know-big kid,lol.

And it's Imbolc today.Just in time for the day this little one decided to pop its head out.It doesn't feel like spring we have freezing temperatures outside !

It's Freebie Time again

Hi all ,
not much happening I could tell about in the moment apart from work. -which is pretty boring. But I'm glad I have a job at all , even if I wish for another job because I am fed up with what I do. Instead of being shut into an office all day as a lone worker I would rather be able to work with people.....but I'm working on that.

I have been doing this kind of thing for years and it's really fun. Give it a go! It doesn't have to be digital all the time .... it's fun to combine both and do some hybrid projects in between.
I'm working on one in the moment. I have these ugly grey/black office files ....

....and decided to make them look a lot prettier. This is just the start....

Oh, and matching to that Heart box from last post I also made a matching magnet for my metal notice board.

No, it's not for anybody special,lol.... I just like being creative and move in time with the year. With Valentines Day coming up heart shaped projects spring to mind.
The freebie is an ex-store kit called "Wild Hearts" . The reason I picked this one is because it has cute elements in which fit into the Valentine theme, but also for the Art Journaling. The 12 backgrounds and elements can be printed out and cut for a project. And a tip as well..... by printing on Acetate (for printers) you can create clear sticker -like elements to glue on to your projects.

But here is a digital layout made with it (apart from the torn paper,arrow and heart, which are from another kit)
I want to share a powerful video today...warning, some of the scenes really caused me to have tears in my eyes , so keep the tissue box near ! But it seriously makes you think ....when will people wake up and realise that we cannot eat money? That what we do destroys the earth and a lot of what is happening humanity has brought unto themselves.... enough said....

Getting into Valentines mood....

Hello again.....
...in the the moment I seem to manage on average two posts per week,lol. I have just finished my early shifts and now back on my beloved late shifts.Yesterday I was in bed around 8 pm , managed to read for 15 minutes before my eyes started dropping. Today I had a little nap and far more awake in the evening , so I got busy with a little crafting again. Here is the heart shaped altered box I just finished.

I also had another Dreamcatcher order , this little beauty goes all the way to Lori in Iowa /USA.

Last weekend during my time off I jumped on the train to Norwich. I think most of the time was spent in the huge Hobbycraft Store ....which also had a sale on. Needless to say I came away with a bag full of goodies. I also found a great book with all sorts of home brew remedies. That plain little cardboard box in the pic is the one I altered , at the top.

On my next days off I will prepare and upload another freebie for you, but in the meantime a few more Project 365 layouts. This time its all about Love with Valentines Day approaching.

Night shift recovery again and the last freebie links

Hi all,
I'm finally off for a few days again...whoohoo ! Today was as usual spent half asleep and the other half trying to catch up with thing I didn't find time for during my 48 hour work week. But I had a nice surprise come through my letter box a few days ago. A package from Phoenix /Arizona.
The gift from Daniel had finally arrived.

Sam liked the smell and energy from it , he kept sniffing and finally sat down on it.

The contents? Daniel made a medicine bag for me, plus a lovely Indian choker....also hand crafted by him.

I love both ! He wanted to see me wearing it , so of cause I had to take a pic. I am so grateful to him making this and sending it across to me.

Not sure what kind of magick he did with the medicine bag , but the energy is very soothing and calming. I can definitely say I am feeling well protected.

He is the one who sent me the Patriots Jacket and scarf for x-mas, so I'm putting a little parcel together for him. Also have to send of a package to Daniel (a magazine he likes). The new one was out today , so I'm picking up a copy tomorrow. These guys and girls in the Circle group are part of my second family , love them to bits. We are all there for each other and without all of them and other friends my Christmas tree would not have had that much underneath last year.

2012 is rocking ! -and freebie

Hi all, I'm still busy clearing space and changing a few things for 2012. You have probably noticed my new header when you came onto the page. After the books I tackled a few more things in this place...my motto:if you have not used it in 2 years , you are not likely going to use it again. You wouldn't believe what I found ! It's one of these things where you wonder about yourself.... I found a Remington Curler I didn't even know I had, brand new ...now why the hell did I buy a Curler years ago when I have a head full of natural curls ? Straightener would have made more sense ...going to the Charity Shop !
So I did a January Layout as this seems to be the theme of the month-Clearing space

Parts are my own Recycle kit and some parts are from Courtney's Digi-Scrappin Art Journey.
I managed to make contact with another Spirit guide of mine.Apart from the native Warrior who likes to give me riddles to solve I also have a female guide, who calls herself Moira .I am getting a distinctive Irish/Celtic impression with her. Guess that explains my interest for Celtic traditions and also the love for native things I have. Even before I knew about them they had a strong influence.
I was told years ago I had Medium abilities, but I never believed it until now.
I also got a new book. In fact, 3 of us got a new book-Nikki and Rachel ordered this as well, so we'll be able to work through and discuss parts together. Dark Goddess-Invoking the Morrighan. Actually it was Morgana aka Ivy , my friend and ex -co producer of Magickalscraps who recommended it to me. Yes , we still have regular contact , she is my friend on Facebook and she's doing great with Morien aka Jussi and their little girl. Also a few of us are working together on the "Psychic Pathway" ...so 2012 so far rocks, we are doing a lot of things together.

Holy hell.... sickness everywhere !

Good morning peeps,
I'm running late this morning after a night of restless and interrupted sleep again. It's my second family -I have a connection to them and each time something happens I wake up. First Pixie and Nikki sick, then Ricky and now Bob as well.Also worried about another friend who isn't himself in the moment. "Do me a favour guys.... can you stop doing this at night so I can get my beauty sleep,lol?"-only kidding of cause....
January 2012's first week has been turbulent. Not just with energy shifts , but people in general affected by it , being unsure and indecisive, moody or emotional... tonight is the full moon to round it all up.And Mars in retrograde -oh joy.
My first week was filled with organising and cleaning (curtains washed, windows downstairs cleaned) , and it carries on. I tackled all the books first. Now everything is nice and tidy, plus easy to find for reference.

The work goes on.... I started on a better system with the oils and crystals as well.
Project 365 continues.... here are the next layouts.

And now its time for me to get some more work started. On the plan is cleaning the bedroom window before I start to lay out the crystals for charging in the full moon tonight. Have a nice Sunday - hugs Snowy

Hi , first of all- thank you for the birthday wishes you left for me ♥
I was working that day, so there's really not much to tell. Although one of my birthday present just fits me to the ground,lol. Rebel !

Kyra, thank you so much for your card and present as well. She sent me a cute little Birthstone Fairy.I also received a gift from Pixie- one of the books by Doreen Virtue I am collecting.
Plus Nikki is sending something all the way from MA, and Daniel is surprising me with a very special treat.
This little Witch is getting a medicine bag for protection and handcrafted choker ...whoohoooooo! How sweet is that? Just gotta love all my friends :) We had a few stormy days here with winds up 105mph in some parts of the UK.But my new furry hat is keeping me warm .

So far I'm keeping to my "layout a day" challenge. So here are some more I made.

More to come - I'm catching up with some work in here today, plus I have another chapter and assignment to complete. Visions are getting better and more regular, plus the clairvoyant ability is slowly getting clearer...but it's only the beginning....lots more work to do to strengthen this ability-which means meditation, connect with the guides and get advice if I'm unsure.For now I say "Have a fantastic weekend" and I'll be back.-and if you like belly dance check out the new song and video by Kai Altair at the top of the page :)

I'm finally back again....Happy 2012

...to blog a little. Where do I start? - A happy New Year everybody ! Hope you all had a nice and safe New Years Eve. Myself and Shaun stayed at home , toasted the New Year with some rose sparkly bubbles to drink and smoked ourselves out of the room...yeah, we let of sparklers and they smoked quite a lot.

Christmas is over....

.....but Tuesday was still a holiday here in UK , because Christmas Day landed on a Sunday. Hi all-hope you had a good time .
I'm back to work , have been since Christmas Day on Sunday. Yesterday I attempted to design a bit to make a new kit, but soon lost interest ...the new book had more of a pull on me. Plus of cause having fun and chatting with friends on FB.I got a reflexology book with DVD to learn it ....now I just need some Guinea pigs to try it out,lol.
The old year is almost over and time for me to reflect on all that has happened in 2011. It has certainly been a year full of events and learning. A year of making fantastic friends and adding to our little family on FB( the Circle). I have just been adopted as "little sis" by big brother Bob, a friend of Ricky, who is very dear to me. And all my sisters Teri, Rachel,Nikki, Deb,Pixie,Jillian plus a few more.And I am grateful for having Daniel in my life....we didn't have much time recently to talk, he definitely works too much.But I love waking up to nice messages in my in box. Let's see if we manage to catch up on the weekend , maybe on web cam or via telephone.
I have been spoiled with presents for Christmas, here a few of them ...plus there is a brand new DVD player in my room, so I can now watch movies in bed .... what a luxury-much better than DVDs on the laptop.

My Angel collection is growing- that essential oil diffuser looks lovely in my bedroom.

Over the next days I will make a new vision board for the coming year. I didn't achieve everything I wanted this year, but I made a good start and plan to carry on in the new year.Here a few layouts I made the past days.

One priority will definitely be a flight to Phoenix and meeting Daniel...will be interesting to see how I cope with the rather warm Arizona climate. He tells me they all walk around with guns and knifes-even he does, apparently it's the normal way of life...very Wild West ....yeeehaw ! Lol, gotta see the funny side of it.Anyway, enough for now....I will be off work again soon....3 shifts left to do, and then I prepare another freebie for you. Until then -Hugs Snowy

Hello all.
I know I have been awfully quiet lately but have been really busy here. Not to mention more visions and a being attacked by a spirit. No kidding.... I cycle along in the dark, and it felt really spooky, and I sensed I was not alone, and suddenly get a choking feeling and start getting breathless , as if someone has his hands around my throat.I actually had difficulties breathing. I was starting to feel faint , gasping for air when I mentally called on my Guides,Goddess and several Angels to help and protect me - the feeling stopped almost immediately and I was trying to recover my breath and got the hell out of there. I think I never peddled so fast in my life !I admit it- I was scared ! Lol, I won't be going along that path in the dark again for a while. But that brings up the need for better psychic protection. I'm learning all about it and trying to put it into action. Daniel, will be making a medicine bag for me to wear and send it over , I am so grateful to all my friends giving advice and help. Apart from that it was nice to hear Daniels voice on the phone , we had a good talk. He's on call this week including the holidays, so with him not having much time,I miss chatting with him.But at least I won't be the only one working over Christmas.
We had our Christmas party at work ,I got a Fairy Jar. I will show more pics from that in another post.

It was a great laugh ! Creative side of me has been busy with a little heart shaped trinket box. Painted and decorated....did I mention I love the feather trend,lol?

...and I'm still alive and kicking,lol. Hi all- I have been on early shifts the last days and was too tired to do much else.
And I have been busy with other things . I'm learning about what it means to have visions and start to be clairvoyant. Daniel has been such a help with this when I first started to get the visions more regularly and to figure out what they mean. I'm slowly getting used to it now, just have to learn to receive them at the right times-and not while I'm at work or being woken up at night from my sleep from them. Questions from him like " Why do you feel you were sent on this path?" ,"What does it represent?",and "What have you learnt from it?" really make the brain work and gets you thinking ! I know that Phoenix /Arizona will definitely be one of my destinations to visit and to meet him.... we probable won't stop talking.
Well, I just had to treat myself yesterday when I saw that Claire's Accessories had a sale on. Got myself a necklace and some things to tame my hair.

Feather jewellery and Accessories are the " IN-TREND" at the moment. I usually don't go much by what is in , but I love feathers.
Even made a layout,lol.

A new Week and another freebie

Good morning :)
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine certainly was great ! Saturday was the Eclipse and full moon , so I went out to see if we are able to catch anything of it.Sadly that was not the case ,but the north of UK was lucky to catch at least a partial view of it. Still, it was nice to see the moon come up at around 4pm in the afternoon. I was at Ness Point with some other Moon watchers. Luckily I was clever enough to wrap up warm, because the wind there by the sea was real chilly ! Here some pics from our sky watch on Saturday.

Sunday was of cause Football day , so after a short time out -it was horrible rainy weather, I snuggled up on the couch and watched the game after we had dinner. And what a game it was ! I was on the edge of my seat most of the time. But all ended well with another win for the Pats ! I treated myself to another new book, I have started last night and it really is a pleasure to read. This man is an inspiration ! If more would think like he does , if politicians would act like he does the World would be a much better place ! Most of my packages have been sent last week, today I'm mailing the very last of them , plus more cards.

Waking up with a smile ;) and another freebie kit

Hi and hope you are all having a lovely day.
I'm really enjoying my time off work and find time to just be lazy and relax as well. So I have not been doing that much the last couple of days. There's of cause the usual chores and the laundry, but apart from writing more cards, wrapping up yet another present and lots of reading not much done. Oh, not to forget chatting with my friends of cause ! The messages have been going nuts,lol.
Had a good chuckle last night as well , talking about childhood and growing up I remembered the films we used to love watching as kids. And there was no game consoles , so out and about in the woods it was and we would play act scenes from the films. I went on You tube to see if I could find any of the old film scenes and I did ! Oh my Goddess- it not only brought back memories but I was laughing about it as well. These are movies made after books by Karl May - a Story about Winnetou,an Apache Chief. Hahahaha... Have a look yourself, here is one of them (in German , there are some more with subtitles , but the translations are so bad it wasn't worth bothering to to put up)lmao , looking forward to the next chat. Don't know where this will go , but enjoying the present time -that's for sure !

Quickpage 4 of Santa's World

Hi again, today was a mellow day. I got up late because my coughing woke me up a few times during the night. In the end I couldn't go back to sleep at about 4.30 am and ended up chatting on my laptop until almost 6.00am before I had another attempt to go back to sleep. Luckily this time I slept through straight till almost 11.00 am. I'm feeling great, just when I lie down all that mucus makes me cough - but its gotta get loose and come out ! Then I went for a walk along the beach, being by the water always has a good effect on me, I find it relaxing and sitting on the rocks watching the waves is a great opportunity to meditate and ground myself. Obviously in this cold weather I don't stay as long as I would in summer. Here are some pics I took today.In the end it was already getting dark, and it was only around 3pm.Can you tell I love the sea,lol ?

I case you wonder where my mop of curls is, I had braided my hair today.
of cause it was a case of having to warm up after coming back from the beach. When I came home I had a hot steaming coffee with a generous shot of Captain Morgan's ,lol. That stuff really works ! No wonder the Pirates liked their Rum ! Hmmm..... braids suit me ,I think.

Then it was a case of preparing dinner- chicken into the oven and I even made us a Chocolate Butterscotch Pudding for afters. And it was Football time -the Pats were playing ...and winning it seems.... damn, I missed the last quarter ! I blame a certain person for keeping me busy chatting....not that I mind,lol. This guy has the ability to sneak his way into my life and I am growing more and more fond of him. Luckily I'm not the only one who thinks like that.

Hello again , hope you are all having a lovely Saturday !
I was up quite early this morning and went into town . I am so glad I did ! Come this afternoon and the cold wind was picking up and I was glad to be finally home in the warmth again.I had to hop into the Crystal store and found another perfect little gift , as I now have another contact to add on my address list to send a card to. The present is that small it will fit in with the card - can't write to much or show ....you never know who will read my blog.....
I treated myself to another one of the white angels I started to collect .I think it looks very cosy and nice in my bedroom.

Crystal collection constantly growing,lol...

For Native Americans it was the fulfillment of their legends, as significant as the Second Coming of Christ

“In the legends of Native Americans, the birth of a white buffalo calf is an omen of universal significance. The Cheyenne, Sioux, and other Plains tribes believe that a White Buffalo Calf Woman once brought a sacred peace pipe to the world. Her return, they say, would signal a time of unity and goodness among people of all nations and colors.

The odds are against it. At their peak, the American bison, or buffalo, numbered about 80 million, and the chances of a white, nonalbino, buffalo being born were about one in 10 million. Today, there are only about 130,000 buffalo.

Still, on August 20, 1994 a white buffalo calf was born on a farm in Janesville, Wisconsin. For Native Americans it was the fulfillment of their legends, as significant as the Second Coming of Christ.
Their legends also say the buffalo would change color four times in its lifetime. By the time it was a year old, the buffalo calf, named Miracle, had already changed once.
Floyd Hand, a Sioux medicine man from Pine Ridge, South Dakota, said the birth would affect all human beings, not just Native Americans. "It's an omen that's bringing a change and a new world. The twenty-first century that is coming is going to unify all of us.”
As the Rains of Revelation fell in 1994 and began nourishing the Sahasrara, other spiritual seeds were sprouting on Mother Earth. Against overwhelming odds a white buffalo was born in Wisconsin, USA. To the native Americans this was a Divine Sign that would bring about the spiritual healing of this planet and all its inhabitants. The birth of the White Buffalo is the fulfillment of an ancient prophecy that ushers the Dawn of Enlightenment to all spiritual seekers of Earth. Note: On March 31, 1995 SY François Gibeau (New Jersey, USA) and Partap Gulati (Toronto, Canada) were at Kash’s home. The topic eventually came to the White Buffalo. François told that the birth of the White Buffalo was a scheme by some smart ranchers to make money out of a revered North American Indian prophecy. He had found out that the White Buffalo had changed color, and lacking knowledge, suspected that some sort of ‘biological dye’ had injected into the sperm and then artificially inseminated.

François refused to budge and Partap could not make up his mind. They both checked their vibrations but got mixed readings. The only way was to check with the Great Spirit. Kash was told about the whole argument and asked to verify with Shri Mataji in his Sahasrara.
Kash came back after meditation and told that Shri Mataji told him that it was not proper to argue whether the legend of the White Buffalo was true or not. She did not tell Kash who was right, perhaps out of respect and not to hurt any feelings, and this question was never put forward again. (However, if the legend of the White Buffalo was not true then Shri Mataji would have said so at a later date as She had done on a few occasions. Since the Great Spirit did not do so then this sacred White Buffalo prophecy of the noble North American natives is the Truth.)

Note: Some historians claim that Lord Jesus Christ was born around 6 BC. if that is true then the birth of Miracle 1994 marks exactly two millenniums since His birth. It is as if the Great Spirit wishes to bring hope and harmony to all nations and people of many tongues by giving them a common vision of the Eternal Oneness.
"The message is simple. The people should be of one heart, one mind, one people. Peace, love and harmony. It is time to educate the world," Hand said, raising up his cane to make the point.
"I'm 55-years-old and I've been lucky. It's been the dream of our people for 500 years (to see the white calf return. In 1954 my grandfather said I would live to see (the calf) and see a change in the world. We've been praying for her return,'' he said.
Swinging his arm around the field, Hand pointed to other elders who had journeyed from around the United States and to attend the ceremony.

"If we keep desecrating Mother Earth, there's going to be nothing left. This is like the Second Coming to us!'' he shouted.
Hand said at the present time there is an anti-Christ movement throughout the world, evident by rampant alcoholism, drug abuse and murder.

I got up quite late this morning, but that's what time off is for as well -to be lazy and just stay in bed sometimes. But now I'm ready to roll and have recovered from my nights. The postie just brought me a parcel ....from Holland. Thanks so much ,Kyra - you went well over the top again, there is so much !

This was inspired by this story -I couldn't believe what I was reading then !What is wrong with people? This is not greater unity-it's just the opposite ! And it makes me sad to see such ignorance

It seems to me the world around us is falling apart. The value of life... the importance of nature... animals.. children is thrown to the wayside. I hear or read about how children are dieing at the hands of their parents. The very people that are suppose to love and protect them. And seeing what is happening in this church doesn't surprise me either. What i had hoped was fading away has only gotten more pronounced and that prejudice and hatred is growing stronger.Where churches preached about universal love and openness, they easily turn a blind eye to everything in life if it doesn't conform to what they perceive is right according to their own wants or desires. WHITE BUFFALO CALF WOMAN

Brings The First Pipe
As told by: John Fire Lame Deer, in 1967

"The Sioux are a warrior tribe, and one of their proverbs says, "Woman shall not walk before man." Yet White Buffalo Woman is the dominant figure of their most important legend. The medicine man Crow Dog explains, "This holy woman brought the sacred buffalo calf pipe to the Sioux. There could be no Indians without it. Before she came, people didn't know how to live. They knew nothing. The Buffalo Woman put her sacred mind into their minds." At the ritual of the sun dance one woman, usually a mature and universally respected member of the tribe, is given the honor of representing Buffalo Woman. Though she first appeared to the Sioux in human form, White Buffalo Woman was also a buffalo - the Indians' brother, who gave its flesh so that the people might live. Albino buffalo were sacred to all Plains tribes: a white buffalo hide was a sacred talisman, a possession beyond price.

One summer so long ago that nobody knows how long, the Oceti- Shakowin, the seven sacred council fires of the Lakota Oyate, the nation, came together and camped. The sun shone all the time, but there was no game and the people were starving. Every day they sent scouts to look for game, but the scouts found nothing. Among the bands assembled were the Itazipcho, the Without-Bows, who had their own camp circle under their chief, Standing Hollow Horn. Early one morning the chief sent two of his young men to hunt for game. They went on foot, because at that time the Sioux didn't yet have horses. They searched everywhere but could find nothing. Seeing a high hill, they decided to climb it in order to look over the whole country. Halfway up, they saw something coming toward them from far off, but the figure was floating instead of walking. From this they knew that the person was waken, holy.

At first they could make out only a small moving speck and had to squint to see that it was a human form. But as it came nearer, they realized that it was a beautiful young woman, more beautiful than any they had ever seen, with two round, red dots of face paint on her cheeks. She wore a wonderful white buckskin outfit, tanned until it shone a long way in the sun. It was embroidered with sacred and marvelous designs of porcupine quill, in radiant colors no ordinary woman could have made. This wakan stranger was Ptesan-Wi, White Buffalo Woman. In her hands she carried a large bundle and a fan of sage leaves. She wore her blue-black hair loose except for a strand at the left side, which was tied up with buffalo fur. Her eyes shone dark and sparkling, with great power in them.

The two young men looked at her open-mouthed. One was overawed, but the other desired her body and stretched his hand out to touch her. This woman was lila wakan, very sacred, and could not be treated with disrespect. Lightning instantly struck the brash young man and burned him up, so that only a small heap of blackened bones was left. Or as some say that he was suddenly covered by a cloud, and within it he was eaten up by snakes that left only his skeleton, just as a man can be eaten up by lust.

To the other scout who had behaved rightly, the White Buffalo Woman said: "Good things I am bringing, something holy to your nation. A message I carry for your people from the buffalo nation. Go back to the camp and tell the people to prepare for my arrival. Tell your chief to put up a medicine lodge with twenty-four poles. Let it be made holy for my coming."

This young hunter returned to the camp. He told the chief, he told the people, what the sacred woman had commanded. The chief told the eyapaha, the crier, and the crier went through the camp circle calling: "Someone sacred is coming. A holy woman approaches. Make all things ready for her." So the people put up the big medicine tipi and waited. After four days they saw the White Buffalo Woman approaching, carrying her bundle before her. Her wonderful white buckskin dress shone from afar. The chief, Standing Hollow Horn, invited her to enter the medicine lodge. She went in and circled the interior sunwise. The chief addressed her respectfully, saying: "Sister, we are glad you have come to instruct us."

She told him what she wanted done. In the center of the tipi they were to put up an owanka wakan, a sacred altar, made of red earth, with a buffalo skull and a three-stick rack for a holy thing she was bringing. They did what she directed, and she traced a design with her finger on the smoothed earth of the altar. She showed them how to do all this, then circled the lodge again sunwise. Halting before the chief, she now opened the bundle. The holy thing it contained was the chanunpa, the sacred pipe. She held it out to the people and let them look at it. She was grasping the stem with her right hand and the bowl with her left, and thus the pipe has been held ever since.

Again the chief spoke, saying: "Sister, we are glad. We have had no meat for some time. All we can give you is water." They dipped some wacanga, sweet grass, into a skin bag of water and gave it to her, and to this day the people dip sweet grass or an eagle wing in water and sprinkle it on a person to be purified.

The White Buffalo Woman showed the people how to use the pipe. She filled it with chan-shasha, red willow-bark tobacco. She walked around the lodge four times after the manner of Anpetu-Wi, the great sun. This represented the circle without end, the sacred hoop, the road of life. The woman placed a dry buffalo chip on the fire and lit the pipe with it. This was peta-owihankeshini, the fire without end, the flame to be passed on from generation to generation. She told them that the smoke rising from the bowl was Tunkashila's breath, the living breath of the great Grandfather Mystery.

The White Buffalo Woman showed the people the right way to pray, the right words and the right gestures. She taught them how to sing the pipe-filling song and how to lift the pipe up to the sky, toward Grandfather, and down toward Grandmother Earth, to Unci, and then to the four directions of the universe.

"With this holy pipe," she said, "you will walk like a living prayer. With your feet resting upon the earth and the pipestem reaching into the sky, your body forms a living bridge between the Sacred Beneath and the Sacred Above. Wakan Tanka smiles upon us, because now we are as one: earth, sky, all living things, the two- legged, the four-legged, the winged ones, the trees, the grasses. Together with the people, they are all related, one family. The pipe holds them all together."

"Look at this bowl," said the White Buffalo Woman. "Its stone represents the buffalo, but also the flesh and blood of the red man. The buffalo represents the universe and the four directions, because he stands on four legs, for the four ages of man. The buffalo was put in the west by Wakan Tanka at the making of the world, to hold back the waters. Every year he loses one hair, and in every one of the four ages he loses a leg. The Sacred Hoop will end when all the hair and legs of the great buffalo are gone, and the water comes back to cover the Earth.

The wooden stem of this chanunpa stands for all that grows on the earth. Twelve feathers hanging from where the stem - the backbone, joins the bowl - the skull, are from Wanblee Galeshka, the spotted eagle, the very sacred one who is the Great Spirit's messenger and the wisest of all cry out to Tunkashila. Look at the bowl: engraved in it are seven circles of various sizes. They stand for the seven ceremonies you will practise with this pipe, and for the Ocheti Shakowin, the seven sacred campfires of our Lakota nation."

The White Buffalo Woman then spoke to the women, telling them that it was the work of their hands and the fruit of their bodies which kept the people alive. "You are from the mother earth," she told them. "What you are doing is as great as what warriors do."

And therefore the sacred pipe is also something that binds men and women together in a circle of love. It is the one holy object in the making of which both men and women have a hand. The men carve the bowl and make the stem; the women decorate it with bands of colored porcupine quills. When a man takes a wife, they both hold the pipe at the same time and red cloth is wound around their hands, thus tying them together for life.

The White Buffalo Woman had many things for her Lakota sisters in her sacred womb bag: corn, wasna (pemmican), wild turnip. She taught how to make the hearth fire. She filled a buffalo paunch with cold water and droped a red-hot stone into it. "This way you shall cook the corn and the meat," she told them.

The White Buffalo Woman also talked to the children, because they have an understanding beyond their years. She told them that what their fathers and mothers did was for them, that their parents could remember being little once, and that they, the children, would grow up to have little ones of their own. She told them: "You are the coming generation, that's why you are the most important and precious ones. Some day you will hold this pipe and smoke it. Some day you will pray with it."

She spoke once more to all the people: "The pipe is alive; it is a red being showing you a red life and a red road. And this is the first ceremony for which you will use the pipe. You will use it to Wakan Tanka, the Great Mystery Spirit. The day a human dies is always a sacred day. The day when the soul is released to the Great Spirit is another. Four women will become sacred on such a day. They will be the ones to cut the sacred tree, the can-wakan, for the sun dance."

She told the Lakota that they were the purest among the tribes, and for that reason Tunkashila had bestowed upon them the holy chanunpa. They had been chosen to take care of it for all the Indian people on this turtle continent.

She spoke one last time to Standing Hollow Horn, the chief, saying, "Remember: this pipe is very sacred. Respect it and it will take you to the end of the road. The four ages of creation are in me; I am the four ages. I will come to see you in every generation cycle. I shall come back to you."

The sacred woman then took leave of the people, saying: "Toksha ake wacinyanktin ktelo, I shall see you again."

The people saw her walking off in the same direction from which she had come, outlined against the red ball of the setting sun. As she went, she stopped and rolled over four times. The first time, she turned into a black buffalo; the second into a brown one; the third into a red one; and finally, the fouth time she rolled over, she turned into a white female buffalo calf. A white buffalo is the most sacred living thing you could ever encounter.

The White Buffalo Woman disappeared over the Horizon. Sometime she might come back. As soon as she had vanished, buffalo in great herds appeared, allowing themselves to be killed so that the people might survive. And from that day on, our relations, the buffalo, furnished the people with everything they needed: meat for their food, skins for their clothes and tipis, bones for their many tools."

Two very old tribal pipes are kept by the Looking Horse family at Eagle Butte in South Dakota. One of them is the Sacred Pipe brought to the people by White Buffalo Woman.

John Fire Lame Deer was a Lakota Holy man, and perhaps a Heyoka. His book Lame Deer, Seeker of Visions, written with Richard Erdoes in 1972 . He died several years later on the Roeebud Lakota reservation in South Dakota; his son Archie carries on his spiritual work. This version of the Buffalo Calf Woman's bringing of the first sacred Pipe is from American Indian Myths and Legends, 1980, by Erdoes and Alfonso Ortiz.

Still alive and kicking ,plus a Quickpage freebie

Hi all, I'm still alive -I have survived the two night shifts with my cold. Today I slept half the day of cause -night shift recovery in progress ! Needless to say I didn't get much done the last few days. And this afternoon and evening was time to catch up with some work in here. I got the laundry done, the floors are nice and clean again,it's dusted, it's tidy and smells nice.In between I took some more pictures of the festive decorations in here to put you all into the Christmas mood , if you have not caught the bug already. This is the Advent Wreath, on each of the 4 Sundays before Christmas another candle is lit-a tradition I brought with me from Germany

And a white Poinsettia with some gold foliage makes a nice decoration in the corner.

WHITE BUFFALO CALF WOMAN
Brings The First Pipe

We Lakota people have a prophecy about the white buffalo calf. How that prophecy originated was that we have a sacred bundle, a sacred peace pipe, that was brought to us about 2,000 years ago by what we know as the White Buffalo Calf Woman.
The story goes that she appeared to two warriors at that time. These two warriors were out hunting buffalo, hunting for food in the sacred Black Hills of South Dakota, and they saw a big body coming toward them. And they saw that it was a white buffalo calf. As it came closer to them, it turned into a beautiful young Indian girl.

That time one of the warriors thought bad in his mind, and so the young girl told him to step forward. And when he did step forward, a black cloud came over his body, and when the black cloud disappeared, the warrior who had bad thoughts was left with no flesh or blood on his bones. The other warrior kneeled and began to pray.
And when he prayed, the white buffalo calf who was now an Indian girl told him to go back to his people and warn them that in four days she was going to bring a sacred bundle.
So the warrior did as he was told. He went back to his people and he gathered all the elders and all the leaders and all the people in a circle and told them what she had instructed him to do. And sure enough, just as she said she would, on the fourth day she came.

They say a cloud came down from the sky, and off of the cloud stepped the white buffalo calf. As it rolled onto the earth, the calf stood up and became this beautiful young woman who was carrying the sacred bundle in her hand.
As she entered into the circle of the nation, she sang a sacred song and took the sacred bundle to the people who were there to take of her. She spent four days among our people and taught them about the sacred bundle, the meaning of it.

She taught them seven sacred ceremonies.
One of them was the sweat lodge, or the purification ceremony. One of them was the naming ceremony, child naming. The third was the healing ceremony. The fourth one was the making of relatives or the adoption ceremony. The fifth one was the marriage ceremony. The sixth was the vision quest. And the seventh was the sundance ceremony, the people's ceremony for all of the nation.
She brought us these seven sacred ceremonies and taught our people the songs and the traditional ways. And she instructed our people that as long as we performed these ceremonies we would always remain caretakers and guardians of sacred land. She told us that as long as we took care of it and respected it that our people would never die and would always live.

When she was done teaching all our people, she left the way she came. She went out of the circle, and as she was leaving she turned and told our people that she would return one day for the sacred bundle. And she left the sacred bundle, which we still have to this very day.
The sacred bundle is known as the White Buffalo Calf Pipe because it was brought by the White Buffalo Calf Woman. It is kept in a sacred place (Green Grass) on the Cheyenne River Indian reservation in South Dakota. it's kept by a man who is known as the keeper of the White Buffalo Calf Pipe, Arvol Looking Horse.
When White Buffalo Calf Woman promised to return again, she made some prophecies at that time
One of those prophesies was that the birth of a white buffalo calf would be a sign that it would be near the time when she would return again to purify the world. What she meant by that was that she would bring back harmony again and balance, spiritually.

No matter what happens to Miracle in the coming months and years, Joseph Chasing Horse says the birth is a sign from the Great Spirit and the ensuing age of harmony and balance it represents cannot be revoked. That doesn't mean, of course, that the severe trials Native Americans have endured since the arrival of Europeans on these shores are over. Indeed, the Lakota nation mounted the longest court case in U.S. history in an unsuccessful effort to regain control of the Black Hills, the sacred land on which the White Buffalo Calf Woman appeared 2,000 years ago.
Still, despite their ongoing struggles, Native Americans are heartened by the appearance of a white buffalo in Janesville, and have hope for a harmonious and prosperous future.

"Mention that we are praying, many of the medicine people, the spiritual leaders, the elders, are praying for the world," says Joseph Chasing Horse. "We are praying that mankind does wake up and think about the future, for we haven't just inherited this earth from our ancestors, but we are borrowing it from our unborn children."

Pharmacy Raid and Craft project

Hi and good morning,
I'm up, vertical and as soon as the coffee has kicked in I am going to get ready and raid the pharmacy ! My son believes in sharing again and has given me his cold. So its sore throat , cough and runny nose for a while , I guess. Ughhh...and that when I'm on night shift ! I am so not looking forward to tonight. Guess I will have to drug myself up,lol.
Here are some more Christmas impressions- some things are just a necessity ! Like having advent calendars for the big kids with a sweet tooth here. -with Chocolate....hmmmm !

Sunday Template freebie

Hello, just popping in again to put another freebie up for you. Snowy has been busy with starting to put some Christmas stuff up last night.
Snow border, Mistletoe and self made hanging bauble decos. I will show you how to make these, I have taken pics of every step so you can just give it a try as well. Will just have to put them into order and right some instructions for it. Hoping to have it all up this week on my Craft page.But here is what it looks like in the moment.

Yesterday was the switching on of the Christmas lights in the town center as well, of cause I went...and was busy dodging the crowds,lol. Blue Lights as well, I love this colour !

Not much done on the PC , apart from one quote layout , I liked this so much I had to scrap it.

Plus I have made a new friend I have been talking to a lot , we have the same views on a lot of things ad I look forward getting to know him better.

No cooking (either...hehehe)

Hi, I just couldn't resist the title after reading Kyra's blog,lol.
No, there is no cooking for me either. We have still so much left from yesterday which is fantastic ! Because I am really not in the mood to stand in the kitchen today. After getting up at 4.30 am this morning I just want to chill out after work now.
Just checked Facebook and read the horror stories about the Black Friday shopping - 2 hours waiting time in a cue just to reach the store? Hell no !!! Not for me ! I rather buy online,. Don't get me wrong , I like to browse for nice things , but at a time when the stores are nice and empty. Unless its a concert, a fun fair or something like that I tend to avoid large crowds.
I have already received my first Christmas present -and I was allowed to open it early -whoohooo !
Matt (friend from Fall River/ MA) has gone crazy with shopping. I did tell him off , but I think its gone into one ear and out the other. See yourself what he got me .

Can't have been cheap ! A leather imitation jacket and Pats scarf. But hey -I loooove it !

Rofl, Pixie says she loves the attitude on my face ;)
And the Boot fetish has hit me again -lovely soft warm furry boots .Hey -they were only £16.00 /$24.00 , so I didn't spend that much,lol.

Yesterday I made a Thanksgiving layout, it's day to reflect and think about the things you are grateful for. So it turned out a journaling layout. I used the freebie kit "Just Magickal" for it, and blended one of my photos into the background.

For the rest of today it really is chilling out. I am planning to start running water for a nice relaxing bath in a little while , add two hands full of the Dead Sea Salt and just have a nice soak. It's another early night for me , I have to get up at 4.30 am again. Hoping to finish wrapping up the last packages over the weekend and then bring the lot in one go to the post office next week. And I still have not written the cards,lol. Let's see also if Shaun can help me get the Christmas tree down from the Attic space, then I could start getting the Christmas decorations up. Digging another freebie out,lol

Hi again,
I'm putting up another freebie. This was so far only available in the forum of the Magickalscraps site when we still had it. Digging through I found it on my external drive and thought I put it up on my blog for those who didn't get it back then. It's on the freebie page now.

So what else have I been up to? I was playing but in different way,lol. This playtime involved dough and took place in my kitchen.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

I'm also busy finishing off my Christmas decorations. One deco will be an arrangement of candles and other nice things on a plate, and part of it will be a real little conifer - in the Spring I will plant this little one outside.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, normally it does not get celebrated here but as I'm off work still tomorrow I have decided to cook us something nice as well. There are so many things I am thankful for and it doesn't hurt to dedicate a day to that thought. I won't have family here apart from Shaun , but we can still make it a nice afternoon after he finishes work. Oh- I bought myself "Ice Age -a Mammoth Christmas" DVD ....yeah, I know , I'm a big kid,lol - but that squirrel is just too funny ! Have a great day tomorrow -Happy Thanksgiving

Whooohooo-what a night !

Good morning -or rather afternoon ,lol
I only got up a short while ago as it was rather early in the morning before I went to bed. Yes, I watched the Pats game last night and had tons of fun with Deb , Rob and Mario during the game.Of cause Deb and Rob were watching as well , Rob being a Boston guy,lol. Deb and Rob trying to confuse me , Mario with his comments in between -it was just too funny -all around a great night ! 34 :3 for the Pats !
I've been carrying on being creative as well , but I won't show it as these goodies are going to be in my little Christmas packages. But I will show you Mr Snowy - this little fellow is guarding my door :)

Cute hey? Today I will have to go shopping and stock up again -not much milk left -can't have that ! I need milk in my coffee,lol.

Crafty again and more freebie parts

Hi all,
I had about 3 hours of beauty sleep this morning, then got up and started to catch up with my housework in here. I was definitely on a roll - got everything done I wanted to do and then had some time to do some more crafting while my Meatball/Pasta bake was in the oven. My stockings are done and the glitter and paint on the Wind chime Bauble is still drying.

Last night I managed to get the Sampler ready as well. The beads I bought in Hobbycraft Norwich are perfect for it.

Only took me about a year to complete it-now I can get the next unfinished project out and complete it. The Postman brought me my pre-ordered Nickelback CD this morning , so I was happily sitting here and listening to it while painting,stitching and gluing.Music and crafting , or Football and crafting are just the perfect mix,lol.
And the next two links of Kaleidoscope are up on the freebie page. Just two more folders to upload , and I hope I have them up tomorrow evening for you. Plan for tonight : I will have another nap so I won't fall asleep during halftime - the Pats game is on later. Yesterday I switched between the Raiders, who are going up on my list of teams I like , and the Ravens. Both teams won -I hope the Pats can do the same later !

Hello and good morning,
I have come home from working night shift not too long ago , but though I would check in before I'm off for some beauty sleep. And most important ,put up the first link for the kit I have decided to retire and give away.
So what have I been up to? It was an extremely busy week at work and yesterday I decided to take the train and go to Norwich. The City is geared up for Christmas !

I spent most of the time in the huge Hobbycraft Store,lol- and of cause came away with a bag full of goodies !
I won't be bored for another while,lol

Hi all, the sampler for Funky Christmas is up now on the Christmas Store page.

I'm also busy preparing another retired kit as a freebie -that will go up over the weekend.
Apart from that I've been busy completing my cross stitch sampler. I finished stitching the 3 patches , sewed the background....now it's a case of adding the decorations to it. This is what it looks like so far. I started this while in the USA last year and finally getting it ready now.lol, I have so many unfinished projects which I plan on completing now.

I still need to add buttons, beads and feathers. Tomorrow I will go on a lookout for some beads and buttons which have a native American look to it. I'm planning to take the train to Norwich and see what the Hobbycraft Store there has to offer.I would like some silver patterned buttons and turquoise chunky beads with this-I already have the feathers.

But for now that will all have to wait, it's time to get ready -another late shift to do. So till next post -Hugs Snowy

Hi- I finally finished the new kit ! Just got all the previews ready and now zipping them up to be uploaded and put on the store page.
Otherwise not much to tell... had 2 really busy shifts, and....oh yeah, I had another one of my premonitions,lol. On Tuesday morning I had the the urge to phone up Shaun in the morning , I had the feeling if I wouldn't call him he would be late for work. It's a good job I did! He answered the phone, saw the time and all I got was an "oh fuck! - gotta go" - my intuition proved me right again , and it wasn't the first time. I don't make a habit of giving him wake-up calls, but if I get the feeling I am always right.
I'm also putting the last touches to a cross stitch project and will show it soon once it's all done.The other craft project is almost finished as well. I took photos every step of the way and will put them on the craft page soon for others who would like to give the project a try.
My Living room is getting full of little packages- most are to the USA ,but there is one to Holland and of cause to my Parents in Germany. I still have to write the Christmas cards-they can go in together with the gifts. Will save extra postage- gotta think economical,lol.
But now to the new kit and the previews. Here we gooooo..........

Remembering....

....and no, I'm not on about Remembrance Day - for me its a different kind.It has just turned the 14th November and today last year I was still happy in the morning , by late afternoon/evening my world had changed after the phone call that Erik was in a coma. This year has just flown by. I remember standing on the porch at night because I could not sleep, the place where we used to sit together. I remember crying and shouting up to the sky, pleading not to let him die and to take my soul to make him live. -Damn ,I have tears in my eyes just remembering this moment ! Well, it must have worked - the Doctors were not sure if he would survive the first week -but he made it. Always knew he was strong and a fighter,lol. We have no contact , but that doesn't make me forget him. I wish him all the best -he deserves it.You just don't forget your Soulmate. Its part of me and I am grateful for the time we had , even if it was far too short. lol- I just feel sorry for anyone who will have to compete with that , any man after this will have it not easy ! Yeah, I have the reputation of being picky - but I think that's a good thing. Too may just throw themselves into a new relationship and wonder later why it didn't work out. I rather stay on my own than in something that doesn't feel right !
But I had to do a layout , I journal a lot,lol. Even though its pretty personal I decided to show it.

He is alive and that's something to be happy about,you always have to see the positive side, and I hope he is happy and doing well. So today I give you a quickpage from a kit which is special to me - Soulmate

Getting into the x-mas mood

HoHoHo--- I'm definitely getting into the X-mas mood now ! Packing all these kits into the store (all older ones at drastically reduced prices) is bringing back memories , plus wrapping everything up and at the end of the month is the switching on of the lights here in town. Luckily the shops have not started playing the music yet,lol.
Last night I completed another Dreamcatcher.

And I started another project , but I will show that another time. I'm taking pics of the different stages and will put the lot on the craft page for others to try once its finished.

Hi all, -well nigh shift recovery successful, flat nice and tidy,curtains washed, window handles lose screws fixed, cooked, washing up done ,full moon ritual last night, cleansing and detox salt bath, 2 more art projects in the making .... hey, you can see I have no time to get bored,lol.
The x-mas kit is almost done , some more bits and bobs and then a name for it , I hopefully find time to finish it off in the morning

Popping into my favourite little shop today was another success in finding yet another x-mas present -I'm getting there ! One by one they are being packed and I'm getting them ready to be posted next payday.-Destination USA ,lol

Back in action :)

Whoohooo ! The last shop I tried yesterday had a new adapter for my laptop -I am back in action ! So happy ! Compared to the old Desktop PC the laptop works with lightning speed, so much better. And also the typing on the keyboard is more comfortable, the old keyboard at the PC tends to leave out letters. And no ,I am not getting a new one or do anything to that old thing. The only thing that will be done , I will get myself a new state of the art laptop , a new external drive and then that old thing will be scrapped. Do you know how much electricity I'm saving with the laptop? I t has gone down a great deal since I don't use the desktop - laptops are so much more energy efficient.
I have come of night shift , so for the rest of the day my motto is :

Gotta have days like this from time to time-don't you think?
Later I can finally carry on with my Christmas kit, plus I'm planning to package up a new pack of Christmas Overlays.
Apart from that I was busy with packing my Christmas Presents, -will have to start writing cards as well, I finished another project ...

...a shopping bag with a stitched Cat on, and I treated myself to a tiny little Angel trinket box-so cute !

Also found another little present yesterday, so that's another one off my list ! Currently I'm uploading a Christmas kit which is already on the Christmas Store page at reduced price, the second one is already done, I just need to make a new sampler for it. But all in good time- after this kit has finished uploading I will have some beauty sleep first ! 4 shared has just given up on me half way through the sampler upload of the Christmas Glory Sampler, so I will need to try again later.Winter Solstice is up, also reduced price and the next one I think will have to be the Hanukkha -Festival of Lights kit.While those upload I can carry on working on my dreamcatcher as well, I suppose,lol -as always multi tasking :)

Good morning,
Well , the power cable/AC Adapter has to be ordered in. It seems nobody in this town has it in stock, I have another shop to try today, but I would be surprised if they have it. And lets see how much they will charge,lol.
But at least I got this old PC, so all is not lost-just annoying that I can't finish off the Christmas kit in the meantime.
But I already had some playtime while drinking my coffee....well,partly done last night and finished off this morning.I'm on night shift tonight, so I don't have to rush around during the day, which is nice !
This pic was inspired by the lyrics of the new song from Nightwish-Storytime, so I did two versions of it. One just the plain picture, and one where I put a part of the lyrics on it. I'll show you the one with lyrics on.

Always something unexpexted ....

Good morning,- its back to work for me today.Normally I wanted to show more from the new kit but life has a way of creating some surprises. Last night my laptop told me to "plug in or find another power source"-I thought "what the hell? It is plugged in" and a few minutes later the screen went black.... turns out my power cable, the AC/DC adapter is not working anymore, no power going through. So I can't access the stuff on my laptop until I bought a new one. The plan: leaving earlier before work and cycling up to the store to find out if they have those in stock, if not it might have to be ordered in , which would be a bummer-because it means waiting , and lets see how much they are.... so, nothing to show today, I'm afraid. I'm having to use the old Desktop PC and I hate it,lol. So you have to wait until I got my baby working again -hugs Snowy

Last day off - and a free Sampler quickpage

Good morning again, its my last day off, so lets make the most of it !
What have I been up to? Craft projects - 2 more were completed while watching the football last night.

Then I was busy to upload a kit which I finished last year but never really published. Its only a small kit , so instead of a sampler I made a Sample qp from it-which I used as a layout. You can pick up this free qp on the Store page under the kit previews. But this is the layout I made with it.

And I carried on working on my Christmas kit. I have almost completed it. Here is quickpage with one of the darker backgrounds. I was trying to get away from the traditional Christmas colours. I bought new decorations for my tree this year , and that's where the colours were taken from. We have a nice bright pink, a turquoise shade , a green, lilac and plenty of silver and gold. Morning again, -got my priorities right again with a "big mug of coffee" right in front of me. Just to show what I mean by "big mug" -here is a size comparison. Normal mug, Shaun's large mug and my BIG MUG OF COFFEE! Its huge,lol -and when its full I need both hands to hold it :)

Yesterday I handed in my craft object for the Christmas competition at Craftmania. The Ladies in the shop went all "ohhh" and "aahhh" about it. I hope I can take that as a good sign and maybe win one of the prizes. On Tuesday the guy from Yarmouth comes over to Lowestoft to photograph the entries , all pictures will then be uploaded on the Craftmania Facebook page and the ones with the most votes will win.I am hopeful-my entry is certainly standing out ! Everybody else seems to have made bauble decorations, but mine is a bell .So fingers crossed! The first prize is £ 25.00( approx $ 40.00) voucher for the store. I'd really like to go craft shopping for free,lol. I will show you the pic they published when its on the page.

Today I have yet another Remembrance Day freebie from the past , plus a template and ....... Snowy has been busy with a new kit ! Yup, I'm working on my Christmas kit for this year -and its colourful !
In the moment its coffee time and as usual a good dose of morning music with it. Have you seen the video to Nickelback's When we stand together yet? Its powerful and so right ! Also the lyrics -

Good morning ,
well, I just read Kyra's comment and I did have indeed a nice hot bubble bath last night,lol. Feeling a little better , the left side is ok, but the right is still aching. Plus I woke up with blocked nose this morning -on no ! I don't wanna be getting a cold as well now ! So I'm dosing myself with plenty of Vitamins. The bright side to all this is that I am getting more x-mas gifts done, last night the sewing machine was busy again.I also found a perfect little ornament in a shop the other day for one f my friends. I'm trying to keep all the little gifts small and light so I don't have to pay too much postage. Sometimes sending it is more expensive than the gift itself. I'm better off than last year , but still not out of the red yet , so I have to be careful.
I think today I will catch up with things I left yesterday. And I will have to make my way down into town to the shop to get more milk and cat food.
In the moment I'm just uploading another freebie while I write this. Its nice to see the freebie page fill up slowly. And of cause the cup of coffee is next to me !

More new additions on the blog

Hi again,
I have already been busy this morning and added some more stuff to this blog again. First of all the Midnight Magick kit and sampler are here now and at a reduced price as well (on the kits Store page), secondly there are now 2 Christmas pages , one where the kits will go, and one just for the CU stuff (the first items are transferred over for CU).third another new page just for Art and Craft items and idea links, I have put the first two up there as well. And fourth , 2 yummie Pumpkin recipes are up on the Recipes page- I made and tried these and they were great ! As usual I will add to these pages as I go along as well , if I made and tried something and it turned out great, or I really really like something , it goes on there !(so far its stuff I have already shown here, but I added the links where I got the ideas from)) But I always will announce here on the homepage when I add something new. In the moment its a case of making more x-mas cards , so that's what I do tonight while watching a DVD. I'll be taking it easy today. Being a little stupid when I was cycling ,now I suffer,lol.

lesson learned : wear appropriate clothing while cycling in the cold wind and don't think because you're hot and sweating its like summer and take off your jacket !

Now I'm doing the Granny shuffle , pass the Ibuprofen and hot water bottle ! My back and the area around the kidneys aches , where the cold wind got to -I must be getting old,lol. But hey , what doesn't kill me make me stronger ! So off I go now and do some chores , slower than usual -but I don't like sitting on my butt to much -this certainly applies to me,lol

Hi all,
I have uploaded the Thanksgiving kit and put it into the store for half price. Aso Angelmagic is also available for a reduced price now. Plus you find all the samplers for the kits there as well.
Makes it so much easier for me to have it all in one place here.
Apart from that I've been reading a lot today and just chiling out. I have removed yet more clutter , crafted a bit and made several layouts for our Group on Facebook with Chakra Information.
If you are interested in learning about the Chakras as well , you can find them all in one folder on Photobucket to download and use them for your personal reference.

I will make more, this is just the Root Chakra so far. The others will follow as I go along.

Hello again,
I have been going through the folders on my external drive today. I tried to count the kits I made, but I gave up after I reached 120. But I can tell you, there will be freebies galore for you ! For the month of November I have decided to republish some old freebies for those who missed them the first time round. The first one is a 5th November kit, when we have Bonfire Night here in UK. The next two are Remembrance Day kits. Further to that I have a huge collection of templates which used to be only available in our old forum , so I have decided to get them out.They all are in psd and psp format.

And of cause my own driving license which I stoped to help Shaun to get his and his Motorbike on the road ,insured and paid off. Looks like a busy year ahead.

Blessed Samhain and a freebie for you

Hello and good morning !Blessed Samhain to all !
With the time change over the weekend my body still has not got used to the one hour time difference and I was up rather early,lol. This morning I am preparing our Samhain Feast , the meat is already on the oven , I have just killed another pumpkin and some gourds , the next thing will be baking a cake, peeling potatoes and preparing the vegetables.
I'm also thinking of a number of my friends who have lost power in MA area due to snow and ice -everybody there , stay safe :)
With the change-over of the shop to this blog a lot of my older stuff will be retiring , so there will be freebies galore for you ! Plus a lot of the other kits will be reduced in price so you can bag some bargains. I don't have time to do all this in one go , but I will do it as the seasons and occasions fit in with the designs.
The first freebie one is up today - an ex-store kit fitting to the time of year -its called November. I made some lovely layouts with this kit back when I first made it. It was perfect for pictures of my son when he was a lot younger. Like this one

Hello again ,
only 2 more shifts and I'm off again - roll on Sunday ! I have taken some time off over Halloween/Samhain. Now that our new Girl Natalie is trained up its a little easier to get leave .....finally ! I have so many days left and have to take them by end of March.
Thinking back to today last year , now is roughly the time when I was arriving at Jib's house after Erik had picked me up. Has this year flown by or what? It seems like yesterday !
Nikki posted a video for me earlier on Facebook, filmed from her car while on her way to New Bedford , showing the lovely Autumn colours of the trees along the way.
My Shop blog is closed now! In future any new designs , sampler or freebies will be on the Store page here on this blog. I will still design kits from time to time, but not on a large scale anymore.I just have too many other hobbies which take time as well , and I don't want to concentrate just on designing anymore.
Well -Snowy has been busy again !New Dreamcatcher, Trinket box ,the Christmas Bell still needs finishing off , I want to attach some stars to hang down ....

The Bell is an entry for a competition , so keep your fingers crossed that I win a little prize :)
Apart from that not much to tell. I'm still busy learning and studying for the Psychic Development course and its proving harder than I would have thought. I have to put a lot of time into it , daily journaling and training the mind.....which is not so easy, because we are so used to our normal thought patterns that its not easy to just switch them of and make your mind a "blank canvas" to receive messages. The mind wanders, I start and a minute later I think " I have to do the laundry soon"....back to "blank canvas" ...then " I have to buy more milk tomorrow" .... see what I mean? You have naturally born mediums who just pick things up or know them, the rest of us have to work hard and train ourselves to achieve that state.
Anyway- enough now, I'm off to bed,lol

Last day again...

...and back to work tomorrow. Good morning ,all :)
Work on this blog goes on , even if you can't see much in the moment. I have deleted old posts-including the freebies ,I'm afraid- but they will go back up on the special page for them. For now there is only one year of posts left on this blog.
Lol, last year on this day I was busy packing my suitcase for my trip across , time seems to be flying by, it seems like yesterday.
There isn't much to show in the moment ,I'm afraid.But I have been busy with a Deco Patch project. What is Deco Patch? You cut or tear special paper , or you can use paper napkins , into small pieces or shapes. Then they get glued on with special glue like Mod Podge (I make my own , its quite costly if you buy it) and you get a mosaic stile patchwork effect on the object you are working on. It takes quite some time as the glue has to dry several hours before you can do the other side or where your fingers are holding it. I just glued the last pieces into place , but this is what it looked like last night -work in progress.

I will show more of the progress as I go along , but for now its waiting for the patches to dry again. -on occasions I use a hairdryer o speed it up,lol.
I windy and raining outside but I have to go out this morning.Brrrr... no point doing my hair -too windy for an umbrella , I'm gonna get wet...ah well....
My disaster kid of a son managed to get a dart into his wrist last night . How do they do it? His mate is exactly the same! So this morning he was complaining about his wrist hurt-I'm not surprised with the nice puncture in it !
Anyway, I'm off for now, breakfast and then get ready and out -till next post

Staying creative

Hi, I'm off on anther rota break and have time to check in again. What have I been up to the past days? Apart from working, shopping and a little bit of crafting not much. I started another Dreamcatcher and worked on a Quote Book. Not digital - tradional scrapbooking style for this. I also completed some more Christmas presents, which I can't show for obvious reasons,lol.
And I finally tried to alter photos giving it the HDR effect. Al Ward will soon post a tutorial on his site for it , but I didn't want to wait until its up and did my own little bits after asking and some research. I have to say, the colours really get vibrant this way !
This was my second try which turned out a lot better than the first one. The original...

In the moment I am watching football. The Pats are on bye this week, but I watched the game which took place in London and now another one.
Oh , and I bought myself a pair of leather look PU trousers. Lol, who says almost 44 is too old for Leather pants? They are great and very comfortable ! Very practical on my bike as they don't let the cold wind through. Temperatures here went down to -2/ 28 degrees a couple of nights ago. So you can imagine I had to wrap up warm.

And Shaun had some fun looking at faster motor bikes-he really is a petrol head !

I have even started to wrap up the first little presents , unlike last year when I was not only in state of shock after what happened and simply couldn't afford much I have started early enough this year. So end of November I can actually mail out the first little packets and Christmas cards. But that's all again for now -hope you're all having a great weekend.

Last day off and back to work :(

Hello again, I tried to make the most of my last day off today. About midday I was done with my work in here and got ready to catch some sun. Isn't that bloody typical? Almost the whole week the sun didn't really want to come out, but now that I have got to go back to work it gets nice again? Ah well, at least I had today with sunshine.
And I took a walk to the beach-a bit further down the coast this time.

I almost got wet feet,lol.

As for creativity - here is a tip for you. If you have Dover Images or discs you can make fantastic Christmas decorations yourself. I chose Angels. I printed them once the way they are, and a second time a mirror image, cut both out and glued them together. then I laminated it and cut around. A thread through the top so you can hang it later , and at the bottom is a nice bead with feathers-voila, your very own decoration !
These will look really cute in my Christmas tree this year and I plan on making more.

And I played around a bit , I like sepia colours on photos and the "old look" , so I aged myself . This was taken on my walk today-rather wild and blown through by the wind. And that's all again -early shift in the morning means an early night now. Sweet and naughty dreams to you all -Hugs Snowy

Reiki and Massage

Hello,
nothing beats a new experience a day ! Yesterday I had my Massage and Reiki appointment. Let me just say I am still buzzing ! Which is totally contradicting what my Reiki practitioner first told me -trust me to be completely opposite,lol.
First of all massage was wonderful, then the Reiki- yes, it was relaxing with the music in the background, and I was in a meditative state where I even had a vision. I was told to take it easy for the next 24 hours as the Reiki was working, I might feel dizzy , tired or experience cold like symptoms. I should avoid alcohol or caffeine products to help the body get rid of toxins and negativity.
At the end I was told to stay down a little while and sit up very slowly to avoid becoming dizzy. Yeah right !
I was like a dynamo, so full of energy -I was buzzing. Its as if she loaded up all the batteries in my body. I was so full of energy ! Other symptoms were that I was really thirsty and later on my appetite was amazing, I was so hungry ! Plus I had amazingly vivid dreams.
I should do this more often, its better than a gallon of coffee,lol.
Apart from that I have played a little bit. I went to Edna's blog last night where she wrote and gave a link to some textures.So I went to have a look and really liked it. But....I used the textures in Paint Shop Pro !
So I picked two photos and altered them. Here are the results.

DYI Girl is busy again

Hi all ,
not much to show but as you probably noticed I just changed the background here. Apart from that its been 2 days of giving my tiles a good make over.We've been living here 13 years now and the grout which used to be white had turned into a light brown colour. The silicone sealing along the sink and bath was coming loose ,so it was time to get something done. No amount of bleach or scrubbing was able to restore the look of it. So out with the old silicone and a grout make over. When I started pulling out the old silicone it came to light what was underneath... black horrid stuff ! So once it was all removed a good clean, letting it dry and then filling in the new sealing.

What a difference it makes,lol- all looking a lot brighter !

I would really like a new kitchen, but as this is rented they are not making any changes unless its damaged , and being a good girl I have always treated everything well.
Well, all this DIY stuff has ruined my nails so today is treat time ! I'm having a manicure and at 3 pm an appointment for Reiki treatment.
Seems somebody has gone sick at work, I just received a call asking if I can come in -sorry, but no ! I have planned this long awaited time off to have appointments during this week and get some work done in here. So this time I am not going in.Extra money is nice , but I can't always rush in and have to take care of things here as well.

Good morning ,
-well, this is my second day off. Yesterday , on my first day I was just lazy ,chilling out watching the Football ,chatting with friends and crafting while watching the games. There were some good ones ! The Saints won, La Nita is happy that the Steelers won, I switched over to the Raiders and actually got stuck on that game. They were playing that well that I even missed the first minutes of the Pats game,lol.
On Saturday night Shaun had his first little accident with the motorbike on a slippery road. The back wheel slipped and he had a fall. He was battered and bruised , but more worried about his bike than himself. The bike had a little damage and the engine wouldn't start. So yesterday after he came from work the boys were busy fixing the damage -success ! The second pic was taken through my kitchen window after hearing the engine come to life again.

The result of my crafting time during the football is another dream catcher.

Plan for today is to get ready now and get outside. Its windy but the sun is shining. I will get my hiking boots on , pack my rucksack with a snack and drink , take my camera and go for a walk ....oh, I'll take some bread and peanuts ...those cute squirrels and seagulls will like that. Later on I want to give my kitchen tiles a good clean and make-over. They are 13 years old and the grout in between which used to be white is now a light brown colour. No matter how much I scrub or used bleach its not getting much lighter anymore. So I got a " Grout whitening pen" ....after cleaning you just draw over and it coats the lines with a nice fresh white colour. Also the wall above the cooker has some fat stains on which won't come off. But no worries , I have paint left over and will just apply a quick coat to that area to freshen it up again.
In case you wondered about the chat box disappearing, the spammers were annoying me , so I decided to remove it. And my new header is up , plus some pages renamed and new ones. The work will continue slowly,lol. Now I say until next post and have a great day -hugs Snowy

Blogger is annoying me !

Hi all,
I just went to Edna's blog, wrote a comment, had to verify , then put my password in-ok....no problem. Next it asked me for my phone number .... no way am I giving out my number ...with the result that my comment didn't get posted ...grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....
So, I am not ignoring anybody or not reading the blogs anymore, its just Blogger being pissy and until I figure out how to get around this it looks as if my comments won't get posted....damn ! Maybe a fake number will work?
But its to late to try that now.

I also have another project started but not complete yet. I'm really loving to get messy with paper and glue,lol.
But that's not the only thing. I opened my Poser program and got busy doing a picture. And I am quite happy with the result . Here it is.

Well, that's all I have time for now. But the good news: tomorrow is my last day at work -then I have a week off. I still have so many leave days left that I have to take a few each month to use them all up. So I am looking forward to Sunday , the first day of my leave.....plus Football as well :)

Its getting colder !

Hello,
it was quite chilly here this morning. Not sure how many degrees it was at 6 am when I left for work but around 10 am we had 53 degrees , 72% humidity and 20mph winds. I loved it ! Finally I don't arrive at work completely sweaty from cycling in the heat anymore. Not all were happy about the weather though. Do you remember Michelle Powell, where I used to sell my scrap kits when I first started? Well, -her comment this morning was" I didn't expect to wake up to this !" ...showing a photo of the snow outside her house,lol. Also Lisa in Canada wrote that it was snowing there a little last night.
I have finished creating the new blog background , plus a new banner for this blog.No, not going up quite yet !
Then Deb made me giggle a few days ago by posting this on my page-she knows my love for coffee,lol

Well, that gave an idea. I thought it can't be that hard to make one like this myself. I bought a wood shape at our local craft shop and got busy creating on the computer, printed, cut and glued .....and voila ! -my very own wall plague now hanging in my kitchen.

Well and yesterday was baking day , I made a Spiced Pumpkin cake after buying all these little beauties the day before. And there's not much left-Shaun decided he really, really likes it !

Anyway, that's it - I'm off to bed now. Another early shift to do tomorrow, so I need my beauty sleep :)

Fall and Halloween decorating

Hi all,
It was my second day off today and I have been busy with putting some decorations up and in place. Yesterday/Sunday was spent half asleep -coming off night shift -then watching the football in the evening (Pats won-yippieeee !) and doing some more crafting while watching. We really have had a heatwave here the past week, but luckily temperatures are going down again now towards end of the week. I don't mind the heat, it was in the 80/90ies , but there was a horrible humidity with it. So I'm quite happy its getting cooler again. I have taken a few photos the past days , so let me show them.
I took these the morning after my night shift on the way home.I like the mist in the background.

Fall decorations- its starting to look like Halloween time ! The candle wreath with the conkers and leaves is one of my own creations and not even finished yet.

And I treated myself a while ago.I saw a Raven statue which just screamed at me "take me home" and I found the perfect place for it. There is my little birdie right next to my bed..... love how the crystal ball glows in this pic,lol

Of cause this is all nothing compared to what Deb put up - she even thought of me when she did it. I got this with the note :Snowy , this is for you

Oh man....Deb's front garden looks so cool,lol !

I am having problems here finding any fall and decent Halloween decorations, so I will just have to make some myself .The next project is already planned and the materials waiting.

Creativity again

Hi and good morning ,
I'm on a roll again ! I have the day to myself and don't start work till 11pm tonight , washing machine already going and the coffee has kicked in. I just wanted to show what I have been up to since I posted last. The creative juices have been flowing.
First of all I have finished two little projects-bookmarks for the Bookworm Witches -Cross stitch

I started this last year while I was in New England , now I got it out again and want to finally finish the project .

And another finished project is the Vintage Book box , this baby looks like a book standing up, but opens into a box.

Perfect size to store a deck of Oracle or Tarot cards in :)
The weather here is hot hot hot ! Summer has returned and I wish somebody would turn the heating off ! I like the sun , but it doesn't need to get that hot again -personally I am sick of it and the cooler weather suited me just fine. I'm just not someone who likes hot weather , I rather prefer sunny, but cool . So the fan here is running again. I suppose the one good thing about it is that we don't need to switch any heating on the longer it stays warm and save some pennies that way.
Some of my friends have been to Pagan Pride Day and came back with tons of gorgeous pictures and even video. The kids were enjoying themselves with art and craft activities like making masks and there were Belly Dancers and the girls climbed up onto the stage and danced with them. The pics and videos were fantastic ! So made me wish I could have been in Indi with them !
Apart from that its learning , meditating and listening ..... week 2 of my Spiritual Development Course is in full swing and I am getting better daily receiving messages from Spirit. We are encouraged to talk to our guides and it sometimes makes me laugh. Anybody not believing or knowing what's going on would think I'm schizophrenic , talking to the voices in my head !
The hart part in the moment is recognizing if its just your imagination or if I really just heard a voice telling me things. But considering I came up with things for a friend which she never told me and I could not have known, and I just prompted her ..... its amazing to say the least.
The biggest blockage is to put aside that tiny bit of self doubt which is still left. I have to journal about everything which comes into my head , even if I am not sure if its my imagination or not. Needless to say my notebook is filling up nicely and looking back over week one , the synchronicities and messages are getting clearer and more detailed slowly in week two.One of my friends is noticing the same progress , so we will keep going and learning.A good test is if you misplaced something and can't remember where the hell you put it. I literally ask my guides" can you help me find it?" and a moment later I get an answer where to look. Funny thing is I only checked there a few minutes ago and it wasn't there then ! So yeah, working with Spirit and my Guides is certainly an eye opener and very interesting.And this is only the beginning so I'm nosey what else they have in store for me.Anyway - that's it for now again. I want to get ready and go down into town to Craftmania , a new Craft shop here. As you can probably imagine, for me its like being in Aladdin's Cave with all the goodies there.

New Moon plans

Hi all, just checking in before I'm back to work tomorrow.
Its new moon , so that means the best time to start new projects and make plans. And I have a few. But first let me tell what I've been up to since last post.
I have sorted through my books and other supplies and sorted out a pile of Wiccan books I no longer need. They will be passed on to a young Witch in this town who is right at the beginning to learn. 2 big bags of junk have gone as well. My motto is "if I have not used not for more than a year its not likely that I will need it again" , so it seems I'm sorting out every 6 months and dispose of the things which would clutter my space otherwise.
and I also got out he box with past spells. Those who serve no purpose anymore have now been burned. Epic step ! This includes the Binding Spell we did 2 years ago.

The gig at the pub was nice even though there were not as many people as I expected. Lol, one of band members thought I am south-african -what's new?

And the kit is slowly taking shape - still not finished, there are too many other things I do in between.

Now to the plans-there will be some changes coming. For a start my shop on the other blog will be closed. - Don't worry,lol- it will be re-opened on here. Instead of having two blogs it will only be this one again. The whole blog will get a make-over. The reason? I don't think its right to call it a scrap blog because that is not the only thing I do and show here. Instead there will be a page with scrap layouts and designs, one with other art and craft things and sometimes instructions how to do it. A third page where everything Witchy'Pagan/Spiritual goes, and even a 4th one with favourite recipes. I have been sharing craft ideas and recipes on Facebook already and there are quite a few followers who are interested. This blog will be so much more versatile and it will be easier to find things from different categories.I have some ideas for 2 other categories as well...but we'll see. Kit sales will all be on one single page. The good thing is I don't have to upload the previews all again. I am thinking about what background to make for this make-over and have an idea already in my little head.I would like all this to be done Samhain , which is the Witches New year , a great time to have it all completed.

Maine Meeting Plans getting bigger

Hi all,
the plans for our meeting next year are getting better and better. Whoop whoop -now Lori and Jeff are coming as well, and they will have their hand fasting ceremony there. So we have a Pagan Wedding as well ! Plus Jillian and Dave will be coming over from Oklahoma with Ricky and Co as well. Ricky as our "Father" or Coven /Group leader will be doing the hand fasting. Needless to say Lori is browsing the websites for her Dress,lol.
Plus Pixie and Jesse ,Nikki and her fellow, Eddy hopefully making it from Canada and myself ....so that's 12 people so far .Planning is still in early stages and there is a year left , so I wouldn't be surprised if more will say they want to come to the meeting. Ok, we need 2 houses or Condos , furnished , each with 3 bedrooms ....preferably 2 bathrooms,lol. With 3 girls and 3 guys in each it could otherwise take a while .... cooking will be fun as well for such a big group, I can imagine. Luckily the guys seem to be all "house trained" so hopefully us girls won't have to do all of it on our own,lol. I guess you can read between the lines and see from my enthusiasm how much I am looking forward to this ! Visit to Salem and Witches Ball with a big group of fantastic friends:)
I'm sorting out more things today which I no longer need , 2 big bags full already. I have replaced older photos with new ones I printed last night and Erik 's pics are now in a box together with his letters cards and other bits and bobs he sent me. As much as I loved him and am still grateful to him for being there for me just at the right time when I needed him , I don't want to be reminded of what happened every day.
My Christmas gift box is getting fuller and last night I made the first Christmas cards for this year. Here is the Crafters mess,lol

For today its enough sorted out, I will cook dinner , time for meditation, then have a little nap and tonight go to see a band playing a the local pub.

Crafts and more pics

Good morning , I have finally recovered from my shifts and lack of sleep. Yesterday was a chill-out day, with just chatting , a glass of Honey mead , DVDs and a bit of crafting while watching True Blood. Before that in the afternoon we took some pics at the back of our house. Here is Shaun with his motorbike.

And there was an audience of the people from our house...Linda ,Samantha,etc and kids

Of cause I had to check on the comfort of it ..... I could get used to this,lol - biker babe, as Steve called me :) - oh yes, very sexy in cardigan and pigtails , because I was too lazy to do my hair being tired after night shifts,lol

And let me introduce you to "Bob" ...that's what Shaun called him, I call him dinner !

Needless to say Bob is gone, but something of him was left behind and found good use on one of my craft projects. I created a shell wreath with lots of my left over clam shells and some other bits and bobs. And Bob's claw made the perfect decoration on this.

Last pic for today: my lucky bamboo has grown double its size since I put it into a glass container filled with stones from the beach. Its perfect on my meditation altar in the living room.

And now its time to get ready for me again. Today I will get another tattoo and later tonight catch up with Eddy,Pixie and the others while carrying on with some of my various Christmas projects. The second present is almost ready !

I woke up after a bad dream and couldn't go back to sleep anymore, so I decided to post some pictures here. I took these two on my way home this morning -it really looks like Autumn now. This is a horse Chestnut tree, one of the first to change colour.

Hello, checking in again

Hi all, short update on the last days I was not posting- my friend wasn't well for 3 days,so we did the usual thing and sent him healing as a group ....with amazing success! He woke up from his nap and said he has been free of pain since ! Love it that we could help.I had a feeling something was not right when he was barely on , and when I was digging and asking questions I had to tell him off for not saying anything,lol. Typical guy-suffers in silence and don't wanna make a fuss. But we caught up chatting for 3 hours after that,lol-amazing how quick the time goes when you enjoy yourself.
On Sunday night I made it home from work just in time to catch the 2nd half of the Pats game- another win for the Patriots-hooray !
Apart from that I am doing a 6 week course on psychic development. Week 1 is mainly meditation and keeping a journal about anything to do with intuition , messages or synchronicities we receive. On the risk that you think I have gone completely nuts - during my healing meditation asking the Angels of healing to assist I heard a voice clearly tell me "stop worrying , I am with him now!"....it was just amazing ! I had quite a few other things pop up as well, but it would be too much to write it all here.
Yesterday was shopping day, and yes, I treated myself as well, some new clothes for Autumn/Winter in bright cheerful autumn colours, and I just could not resist these Earrings and necklace.

Last night I went to bed early after a busy day ,-I was even too tired to chat on cam with Eddy - but I designed a bit more for the Halloween kit.

Today its catching up with household chores , I think I'm high on furniture polish and bleach already , then a nap and night shift tonight. Come Thursday I have 6 days off, I put 2 days leave at the end of my usual rota break, So looking forward to it. On Friday I'm off to see Ron and Diane , and have yet another Tattoo done.-and now I have to carry on with my work here -have a great day .

Roflmao, hi again-
I just had to post after reading Kyra's last comment. Yes - the Captain Morgan is loccked up for 6 days ! Come day 7 it will come out again because I have found a recipe I would love to try. Chocolate melted in fresh cream with a generous shot of rum....does that sound yummie, or what? Sort of like Baileys Irish cream , but with choc/rum flavour.
Yes, certain people were very amused about me being tipsy ,apparently I'm very funny.
Regarding the pic with the Robin- a lot of my friends were amazed as our Robin here looks so different than the one they have over in USA and Canada. One said ours looks really like ones you see on the old fashioned Christmas cards,lol.
Anyway, not much to show. I tightened up some seams and stitched on some more Velcro to the sofa cushions to keep them in place, I baked bread , I went outside for some air and sunshine before it disappeared again and got myself some new crystals again. Captain Morgan's is evil, evil stuff ! -and new Kit previews

Good evening ...yeah, I'm running late again with posting. But I only got up around 12 as I had an late night, or rather early morning. We had a girls night last night....well to start with,lol. Shaun bought a bottle of Rum , tried one bit and said " You can have it, Mum" ....hell, I haven't drunk rum in years ! But last night I got comfy on the computer with glass of Rum and Coke. Unfortunately it was far too tasty to be just one glass. Pixie joined in across in Indie with a bottle of Vodka , and Deb made us all laugh with her comments. In between a slightly tipsy Card reading and finally I carried my laptop up the stairs and carried on chatting in bed with Pixie and Lori. I hadn't calculated that the stuff needs more time to kick in , so another 20 minutes later I made Eddy laugh. Tipsy Snowy on the web cam ....oh shame,lol. I tell you , Captain Morgans is evil stuff !

I'm back again, its raining and still rather windy tonight, but we were lucky and had the sun come out during the day as well. I went to meet Shaun earlier and while standing/sitting there by a wall a little Robin came to have a look what we were doing. These birds are usually quite shy , but this one stayed with us for at least 20 minutes at the wall. Of cause I had to take a pic with my phone.

I had to look up the meaning/symbolism of the Robin and I quite liked what I found :Not only is the robin a promise of new beginnings with the new cycle of spring in our midst, it carries symbolic meanings of cheer, joviality and light-heartedness. "Live, love, laugh and be happy" and that is precisely what the symbolic meaning of the red robin tells us too.
I was also busy redecorating my altar last night , besides charging my crystals in the light of the full moon.
I chose natural elements this time like chestnuts, acorns etc. I like how it turned out , it really has an autumn look now.

Hi all,
I am really having a good old chuckle since last night. I put up a comment on Facebook which said :Any man can put out the effort to get you interested,but it takes a special guy to keep a woman interested!
Oh my God ! Did I open a can of worms there , or what? It was a lively discussion to say the least. One of the guys who had requested to get to know me (a local from the town I live in) wrote : most normal women are married, its the stupid ones that are single.- Wrong thing to say ! Eddy answered : what would that make a guy not married then?And Pixie: I think someone reversed "normal" and "stupid" in his sentence.
I was sooo tickled by all this ! My final remark was :one more thought to that....if a guy isn't interesting enough it pays to stick the BOB !
In case you don't know what a BOB is ,lol- it stands for Battery operated boyfriend. So we waited for a reply this morning which never came. Through my chats I knew this guy had some weird views, but I didn't think he would be that much of a coward to just delete me as a friend -damn, ruined all my fun,lol ! I love it when a guy suddenly realizes I really am more then he can handle ! Its funny how they disappear when they realize they are dealing with a strong independent girl and not some shy insecure woman they can walk all over on ! There's no messing about with me ,I know what I want and won't lower my standards !
And it makes me value and love my friends like Deb, Nikki, Pixie and Eddy so much more ! Yet again I have to say how grateful I am to Deb and Erik who helped me and boosted my self confidence after splitting up and divorce. Without them I wouldn't be the strong woman I am now. Eddy is tickled as much as I am by all this, we chatted about it already when I came home this morning before we went both to sleep. -And before anybody gets the wrong impression-no , he is not my boyfriend ! He is a very, very close friend I click really well with and I can't wait to meet him in person next year. He's seen me at my worst first thing in the morning with messy hair and without make-up , has put up with my whinges, has let me into his life as friend and comfort him when he was at his worst and down , and is totally honest -I would trust this guy in all ways ! A perfect friend. It really is a shame he lives so far away in Canada :-( Seems to be my fate that the best ones always live far away.
Funny thing is that since then I am minus two people on my friends list....I have no idea who the other one is, but he must have not agreed with the comments either. No loss ,lol.
Hurrican Katia is creating very strong gusts of wind here , so far its still sunny though. I'm loving the weather right now, not too hot and I like the wind.

Hi all, finished another night shift ....hooray ! The wind has picked up this morning , I loved the weather so much that I didn't go home straight away but decided to go for a walk and take some pics. I'm working on a Halloween/Samhain kit and these will be perfect for that. Here are some shots from this morning.

For me this is not just a gravestone, but this is actually art.

I know -guess some people find it strange that I enjoy a walk over an old cemetery. Hello again, tonight I'm on for another long 12 hour shift, but that means I have the day to myself and so far I have been catching up in here.
I made another layout last night after doing a card reading for a friend with that new kit I have been working on so I thought I do a quick post to show it. And mother here needed a new Profile picture,lol.
I like how this turned out- plainly got mischief written all over it !

And I'm really loving working with this new kit ! I do like a kind of scrapbook diary of different stages in my life , this is one of the pages for it.

Well, the housework is done , so I will get ready to catch a little fresh air now and then just chill out before work.

Apparently so.....hello from windy and rainy England.
We're having strong winds up to 35 mph , temperatures in the 50ies during the day, dropping lower at night and it looks like summer is over.
Back to my title, I told you a while ago I was learning more and making progress with psychic work. I also told before about my Warrior Spirit Guide. Well....I kept finding white feathers , the number sequences 22.22 and 2.22 kept coming up everywhere. Now if you look into numerology and meaning of numbers you find this:222 is confirmation of the ideas you had that are aligned with your soul’s purpose in this lifetime. It is confirmation that your recent thoughts are on the right path and that you should take the next step.
And 2222:It signals a time of change on your path. It means a new beginning, a breath of fresh air. If you are seeing repeating numbers, consider yourself fortunate to have realized that you do. Let the numbers be your physical connection that the angels do indeed have messages for you if you are willing to listen and pay attention.
I keep getting more and more messages and was told I am a Light worker.So I will carry on with this , carry on to study healing , help my fellow Wiccans in the Wiccan connection and learn more.
So now I am not only working with the Wiccan Gods/Goddesses and Deities , but also Angels and Archangels-what a turn-around,lol .If somebody would have told me that 2 years ago I would have said "you're nuts". Currently I'm studying material from Doreen Virtue , my intuition and empathy keeps getting stronger and I am strongly influenced by Native Shamanic material as well.
Anyway.....the leaves are starting to change colour, this little tree is getting a distinctive red tint on its leaves now.

And the Hops is ripe-anybody fancy brewing?

There are plenty of acorns and chestnuts this year and the squirrels have already begun to get their Winter stash together.

I played a bit with the new kit I have been making after work , to relax, and this is one of the layouts.

Hi all, finally got it done this morning and set up the Summer Wedding kit in the store.
But the best news is that I got the sofa almost finished last night. I only have to do a few seams tonight and stitch on some poppers and velcro to hold the cushions in place. From a horrible grey threadbare cover to a golden bright and brand new looking sofa for $40.00 material costs !

The cats had their own way of helping- NOT ! Piles of fabric are too tempting to make a bed in , and even the attacking the sewing machine was fun with the continously sliding and moving material ...Does he look comfy, or what?

Today its a case of making 2 more Dreamcatchers on order.
But let me show the kit and sampler previews available in store now.

Catch up time

Hi all,
as usual after a batch of shifts I have been busy to catch up with work in here again. I have uploaded the new kit but had no time yet to actually put in into the store and set up the price codes on Pay pal. The dates for my next USA trip are set ! Its going to be October next year again.I would have liked to go earlier but as we are meeting up in a group with Pixie and Jesse coming from Indie, Ricky & Co from Oklahoma and possibly even Eddy from Canada we all have to save up and wanted to pick a time that enables us to do some things together. Scott is hosting the annual Witches Ball every year and we decided we are all going to the Ball ! So it will be a big meeting up with Nikki and BF ,who live close anyway and we are looking to rent a Condo or Apartment with more than one bedroom, live together and share the price.My journey will start in Plymouth though with a visit to Julie Dyke-Cowden and from there I will slowly work my way through. Guess I will also have a stop in Easton and maybe Randolph ..... ??? It didn't work out last time to see Edna , so maybe this next time,lol.
Our communal stairwell has finally been treated for fleas as well , there was a strong smell of the spray around yesterday. I am glad, because that means now I don't have to worry about the little pests coming into my flat from there anymore. I was still being bitten every time I had to go into the basement to get out my bike.
The sofa project is slowly progressing as well, All cushions are done , I just have to put some poppers and Velcro at the backs to keep them in place and do the main cover underneath the cushions. And I think I will need some more fabric as well.

I have a new addiction,lol. I spend quite a bit of time on Pininterest, a site for design and crafts. There is everything from sewing , crotchet, knitting, cooking and baking , -and lots more. Not only do you get detailed recipes and instructions , but also a lot of inspiration. Like this little project I made last night. It's standing on a miniature easel for display and is just too cute.

And I just had to take a picture of my windowsill peppers before harvesting them -damn they are hot ! Kyra, you can see one of the presents you sent me for x-mas last year in the background ,lol.
I will start my x-mas projects as son as the sofa is ready and make up little gifts for my friends to send. Last year wasn't much of a x-mas for us , not only the events but also financially as well. So this year it will be better again.

And would you believe I have another kit ready? Well, the Wedding kit comes out first, so this other new one will be a total surprise , hehehehe.....but now I have to go, I have already done my housework, had a bath -all I have to do now is do my hair and then I will go out into town and get some more fabric to finish the sofa covers. and not to forget some more cat food !

One of the funniest things at the Wedding was when I was asked if he is my boyfriend.... do I look that young or Shaun that old? I don't think I need to comment on this one. That's Sarah's hubby, Sarah in red, Diane and hubby Ron -my Tattoist,Crispy and his wife Nat. She will be trained up to be the new girl at work soon- fits well into the team ! As crazy as we all are ;)

And ...oh my Goddess, what was I doing there? Looks as if I was starting to sing ? You can see a bit more of my dress there, it's an empire style. Somehow manages to make you look pregnant but damn comfortable,lol. The little black velvet shrug came off later in the night when I got too hot from dancing.

Roy gave me a disc with his pics yesterday -over 350 ! He asked me to upload them for him , it only took me 2 hours.
Today is recovery day, 3 night shifts means catch up on some sleep,go shopping and fill up the fridge, tidy up and clean and finally carry on a bit with those sofa covers. I am an idiot and have to undo the last one as I stitched the wrong side shut. That happens when you are tired and lacking concentration. In the moment I'm chilling on the sofa with my laptop in "Tinkerbell " pyjamas. Hey ho.... a Goth in white and pink Tinkerbell? Well, they are comfy and were cheap in the Sale...I kinda like them. I'm glad to hear everybody made through Irene safely.Some still have no power but are coping ok. Anyway- I'm off for now, leaving you with song we danced to at the Wedding .....the Cha Cha Slide , it filled the dancefloor for a funny group dance -the Party hit !

Hello, loooove just being able to slide the photos behind the pre-made quickpages of the Wedding kit, so quick to do while not having much time ! Yeah, I'm teasing as well.....before I actually put the kit into the store,lol.

hmmm...Nat is still feeling the effects of her hangover,lol. Sarah was still knackered when I saw her last night and my own voice still sounds rather husky. We have been drinking water and replacing the fluids the past days like crazy, my mouth felt all dry the whole time. Well known fact that alchol dehydrates you. Well, at least I wasn't the one drinking from the bottle....so lowers the tone , don't you think?

In case you wonder about the dress...yes,I did buy a floor length cream dress, but loking at the wet weather and the grassy soft grounds of Somerleighton Hall I decided not to ruin it and chose a little shorter black dress instead.

And we had a piper and drummer there, I wanted to know if they are true Jocks , but they refused to show.....go figures,lol

The meal was a starter of Melon topped with Parma Ham and Rocket lettuce, then the main course a Traditional Roast beef with Potatoes and vegetables , for afters it was Strawberry sundae.
The table decorations were not only popular with the kids -I collected the feathers not only for my dreamcatchers,lol- happy mood and laughter at our table !
Sarah caught me sticking the feathers into my hair while waiting for Desert.

thought I pop in quickly and show what I've done so far....
First cushion.....

...with number 2 it gives a better idea what it might look like when it's done.

Hmmmm I wonder if Shaun complains when I pull out the next one from under his ass?

These cushions are the easier parts to do, it's the huge cover which covers the whole sofa underneath the cushions which will be the real challenge.It's made up from 8 pieces which have to be sewn together just right to fit the sofa. Plus I will do matching covers for the scatter cushions -this will take some time to do, and once back at work I won't be able to do as much. But looking at it with it's bright new material -it will be well worth all the work !I'm even thinking about getting a bit more of this fabric and sewing matching curtains ....
Well, after a lot of sewing I needed to relax and chill out in a different way for a while-so here is a pic I made with pieces of the new kit I'm working on.

Today is another busy day, get last preps for Wedding done , which is tomorrow. That includes a bath tonight, a manicure and pedicure as well, I have to pack my dress etc and take it to work to get changed there, and then straight to the wedding.The card I made for the happy couple needs some last touches as well, plus I want to get a bit more on my sofa done. Oh yes- more batteries as well ! And I need to buy some more cat food. So there- I'll be back,lol .

Hi again,
Wedding kit ready and uploading to go into the store tomorrow evening, another kit in the making and I started on yet another project ! My sofa is a few years old, the only thing wrong with it are the covers. So I have decided to give my old sofa a make-over. Via Facebook I am on all sorts of creative sites , so when I came across this one I said to myself" What a bloody good idea ! So yesterday morning I went to the Come and sew Centre, purchased lots of fabric to do the same. I started last night -will show some pics in another post, but as it grew later Sam seemed to say : "Enough sewing for tonight, I want cuddles" and sat down on my chair.

This is the material for the sofa, a yellow/gold tone with floral shiny pattern

I picked up my electronic cigarette at the post office yesterday. As usual it was delivered while I was asleep after night shift the morning before. And guess what? While I was out picking it up my Amazon packet came....so I will have to cycle up there again today,lol. I charged the batteries for the e-cig and gave it a try. In stead of my normal pack of 20 cigarettes yesterday I made it down to 13 , not too bad for a start. That's counting from the morning before I even had the device and then I had to wait until it was charged up. And I told you I was also busy in between with other craft projects. Here are two of them. A deco heart on my bathroom wall, fitting with the seaside theme. It's painted white and I attached a ribbon,shell, flower and a baby seagull feather my son picked up for me.

New tatoo and keeping busy

Hi all, came of nights this morning and already had some beauty sleep. I have ben busy. For a start I finished the Wedding kit-but can't show it yet .... then I vreated some more quickpages for Minky and also completed the September Pink Challlenge already.
Yesterday Shaun and me went to Ron and both got a new Tattoo. Mine is very obvious for what it stands for-it's a raven feather which goes into a flock of birds.

These are some of the qps I created for Minky , I make a bunch more and then sshe can sell them for her Star children project.
The Pink Challenge qp -I have to add that not all of the pieces are mine, although I add some of my own from time to time, but I had to put my label on so they cannot be used straight from the blog.

I have more , but will lave them for another time , for now it's catching up with some chores in here, making a Wedding card and whaever else needs doing -Hugs Snowy

Less than a week until the big Wedding

Oh boy, I still need to look for a pair of shoes to go with my dress ! I have to work in the morning but having a pick up directly from work. Will take my clothes with me and get changed and ready at work ,lol. Thought I share the website if you want a look - Christine and myself have known each other for 9 years now. We started in our current jobs and went on the the training course together in 2002. This website shows the beautiful location of the wedding -Somerleyton Hall. Shaun will be up in the evening for the hog roast and party.

Our cats are much better, we still have the occasional flea , but nowhere near as bad as it was ! But it takes time to heal for the flea bites.My legs are still itchy and for some reason they target me and not Shaun ...I must have the sweeter blood, or I'm more hot blooded ,lol .
I'm still working overtime , tonight it's a 12 hour night shift. But I have also treated myself the past couple of days. I bought myself a new jacket for when it gets cooler now, and a pair of new boots. Plus another order from Amazon will be on it's way here , and I have finally decided to give giving up smoking another go. Christine has been using an electronic cigarette for 6 months now with great success ! So I thought I will give this little device a try a well, and ordered the starter pack. I will let you know how it goes and maybe post a pic when it arrives. It will save me a lot of money , the nicotine cartridges can just be refilled and it comes with a battery charger. all in all it costs me the price of 8 packs of cigarettes and considering I smoke a pack every day that is fantastic.The aim is to cut down first.So while I am inside I "smoke " the electronic device, and when I am outside I will still treat myself to a proper cigarette. Considering I spend a lot of time inside at work and home doing housework this should cut down costs by more than half to start off with already. Then the nicotine strength goes down , until you can just order nicotine free refill , or even flavoured ones like chocolate , vanilla ,apple etc. I always found I miss something between my fingers , so this little device takes care of that. Hey, you never know unless you try - all the other non-smoking aids are free , you can just get them at the doctors, for this device I have to pay myself-so it will be an extra incentive as well. I just have to be careful with my weight. In the past I have put it on when I stopped smoking , hopefully my change of lifestyle now will prevent me putting too much on. Guess I have to work out a little harder if I notice my new smaller clothing getting tighter !
I will get ready to go into town now. My favourite crystal bracelet broke yesterday. It was a gift from Erik which he gave me while I was across there with him last year, so it means a lot to me.Nothing fancy, just lots of crystal chips on a thin elastic. I just need to get some of this thin elastic and put the crystal pieces back on it. I already have beading needles which are thin enough among my craft supplies.
I'm currently working on getting all the pieces of a Wedding kit wrapped up and do previews, planning for release end of the week. So this is all for now, will have some time off coming up soon and pop in again then.Leaving you with two pics .

ughhhh.....the work doesn't stop!

Hey all,
I'm busy having a War ! A flea war !
We have a year with lots of fleas here, seems the weather has been perfect for the little b****d to breed. So now the communal stairwell is full of them and without noticing they must have been carried or jumped into the flats. So yesterday I was busy bathing and treating our 3 cats, fumigating and cleaning the corners and floors , washing all kind of soft furnishings, cushions and pet bedding. It seems to pay off, the cats are a lot more comfortable today. But until the stairwell is done ( we have reported it to the housing association) we still have to keep up and watch out for them. That wasn't how I imagined my Sunday to be ! For a start I was still tired cause I was out dancing till the early morning hours and had not fully recovered from the 12 hour night shift before. But , as I always say-no rest for the wicked ! Will I ever get this kit ready,lol? It seems every time I plan on working on it something comes in between. But hey, I'm not someone to give up -I'll get around to it eventually. But for now I'm off - still upstairs to hoover and make sure those horrid little critters won't survive and lay more eggs. The steam cleaner has also seen some action to kill them off.Hopefully next post I actually have something to show. I want to start creating some printable spell cards ......

Night shift recovery again

Hi again,lol
It was a busy night last night at the second day of the Air Show. There were events going on at several pubs and Clubs before the fireworks at the end of it...and it didn't end then.There were people out and about until almost 5.00 am this morning. I took a break outside for some fresh air when the fireworks was on and for a picture shot with my phone this isn't too bad, I think.

After it got more quiet it was a case of keeping myself awake, and what's better than plenty of coffee and nice company to chat with ? So I was chatting to my friend Eddy early morning hours again. Now you are going to laugh.... we carried on chatting when I was home and already in bed via my phone....until just falling asleep. When I got up it didn't take long until he was up as well, and when I asked who of us actually fell asleep first , he didn't know either. I thought it was so funny , literally passing out with the phone still in my hand,lol. I must be getting old !
We have our very own food supply for our lunch breaks at work growning over the fence. Blackberries-these are so juicy and sweet , I often stand there just picking and eating.

This afternoon I played a bit with Minky's kit and made another quickpage. I will make some more and you will them on one of Minky's blogs in future. That's all for now, dinner is ready and I want to go out later. Hugs Snowy

I have recovered,lol

Hi all, I needed to recover from yesterday, I was out at the Air Show all day , until it finished. Great time with Hog Roast, Ice cream and several beers -yes,I admit ,I was tipsy. Then home Shaun mixed me an Amaretto coke, -oh dear! I had the snacks ready for the evening as well and the first Pats game of the season went fantastic !They defeated the Jaguars 47:12 , with 3 touchdowns by new player Steven Ridley. So Snowy is definitely in Football mood - and I make this look good ,I think,lol .

All in all a good day.But today I needed to recover -slept until 12 and then slowly got ready , out for some fresh air into town, and now waiting for dinner to be ready and then will have to peddle off to work for a long 12 hour night shift. Airshow Day

Well, today is the 1st day of our yearly Airshow, I'm just getting ready to go out. Must remember to buy some batteries for my camera on the way ,so I can take some photos.

Wow, was that a busy shift ! I really earned my money yesterday. Police were told they had to stay on and do longer shifts , rumors about looting and riots in our town....one said that MacDonalds windows were smashed in, another two said Argos and BHS were looted, yet another said the Britton Centre is on fire -nope, not true, but it still kept us busy with calls coming in. Asda , normally a 24 hour store, same as Tesco closed in the evening and shut their gates,but when I went home everything was peaceful....I really wish people would stop listening and spreading those rumors, they only cause people to worry or panic.
Friends on FB keep asking questions-why did it start ? what is going on now -or - hope everything is ok where you are . Eddy sent me a message :
hope the pucks give up on doing all the damage, stay save babe, watch out on your way home now, babe....

In Fen Park -a childrens play park ,a table and wooden bench , plus a hedge were set on fire by teenagers - I fail to try and make any sense of it, bar needless destruction.More unrests last night have shown that this is far from over, so I am prepared for another busy shift. I tried to design a bit more to get the kit finished but my brain was on strike last night and so I just went to bed in the end. But I have a few pictures to show instead. This was last night during a much needed 5 minute break outside at work , catching a breath of fresh air and taking silly pictures with my phone,lol

And of cause I had to show off my Patriots jersey on Facebook

I also ordered cute little pentagram nail decals from California - will show you what they look like on the nail when I have time to put them on.

And another Dreamcatcher is done .

And now I have to do some work , get to the shop for some milk and then off to work. I'm running a little late as I already had a chat again with Eddy this morning straight after getting up while I had my first coffee, before I sent him to bed,lol. Of cause the subject was what was on the news this morning and it's interesting to hear that the news foootage shown in Canada gets the same reaction and thoughts as it does to myself and lots of other people. We don't have enough Police ....this new Government has a lot to answer for ! Till next post -Hugs from here

...because I have the next pack of beasts ready - meet Mr Hippo ....

...and I got the main preview of the kit ready, although I'm still working on a few more pieces, but as usual it won't all fit on the preview. But this is it -I guess 3-5 more days and it will be done , I still have a few more animals to do.

Plus the detailed previews need to be made before I can start to zip up and upload ...let's see how I get on with my time. For now I'm off to bed - I'm a bit tired as it got later than I had planned last night , and I had to be up at 5 am again this morning. As usual when enjoying a chat with someone we couldn't find an end again, plus the time difference means a lot of my friends only just start to come on to Facebook to chat when I'm almost ready for bed. Last night I got stuck on the laptop chatting with Eddy again. lol. Luckily it's back to late shifts tomorrow. Oh , and I got my Patriots Jersey today -I'm so impressed ! It's fantastic quality and looks great.
But for now it's snooze time , quickly say good night to Nikki who is on at the moment and then I'm off ....nite nite,lol

Hello again,
just quickly popping in again to show the next stage of design for the kit I'm working on.....the zoo is getting a bit fuller. This time it's a cute Leopard.

And also the quickpage again to show some of the backgrounds and elements.

And yippieeeee......I have Thursday off!!! Thanks to David and Roy who are between them covering my shift for me. So I can go to the Airshow and watch the football at night. Oh, and Lady Gaga will be in Lowestoft and in Hush Nightclub.Shaun is trying to find out when, and if it fits into my spare time we'll go and see this weird Lady,lol.
I do have to admit , I really like her new song-catchy !
As for dating -I'm giving up for the time being, too many douche bags around and I am not willing to settle for anything half hearted. I rather be happily single than unhappy in a relationship again. I lost count how many I met and not a single one of them has the qualities I'm looking for.

Well- here I am again !

Lol- don't get too used to it. I might be posting daily again, but it might not last.
Tomorrow I'm back to work and on those hated earlies as well, to top it all off. So I'm making the most of the last hour before bed and quickly post the new addition to the kit I started.
Today was a shopping day, stocking up before I'm back to work and I hit two Stores which are having a sale in the moment. Ended up with a pair of Palazzo Trousers, Jeggings, and a pair of charcoal grey jeans which will be perfect when it comes to autumn time.Plus a pair new slippers and a sweater. The whole lot only cost me £20.00 , which is roughly $30.00. A real bargain day , so I was doing my "happy dance" ,lol. I also bought another book about crystals together with 3 new chrystals and my favourite magazine "Spirit and Destiny" was out new.
But this is the new addition - tubes and quickpage with it.

My friend Matt- bless his little heart (well for a 6 foot man it's not so little I guess) has offered to look for a Patriots baseball cap for me and send it over.
He lives only 30 minutes away from Foxborough and even helped build the stadium.
That will save me a lot of money. If I order it from the USA it will not only cost me more postage and packaging , but I would also have to pay tax. This way it will be a hell of a lot cheaper.Wicked !!!!
Let's see when I find an hour again to make some more stuff for the kit , for now it's a case of getting my work stuff ready and then off to bed for my beauty sleep. Hugs from here :)

Hi again, - after receiving Kyra's comment I just had to reply and post again. When was I ever a good girl? Well.... until about 3 years ago I was , until I was corrupted .lol.

Anyway , just thought I let you know what I've been up to this time. We had a power failure for two hours last night after thunderstorms in the area. But luckily a laptop has battery power.So I was sitting there by candle light playing - not much else I could do with limited light.
So that's what I cooked up this time. Rrooaaarr..... this Pussy-cat is just too cute.

And the quickpage I made from the pieces so far is looking fab as well.

And with that I'm off again. This kit will be growing , but slowly !
Starting Saturday it's more overtime, 60 hours for the weekend and coming week.And Thursday and Friday will be the annual Lowestoft Air Show again. I will be working a 12 hour night shift on the Friday, it still remains to be seem if I can have Thursday off as planned. I hope so , because on Thursday night is supposed to be the first Pre-season Pats game ! The football season is starting. And I'm waiting for the Postman to bring me my parcel -I'll be in Pats style,lol.I have ordered a Patriots Jersey. It was a toss up between the number 12 Tom Brady and Wes Welker.I went for a Wes Shirt in the end. Everybody seems to have the 12.You know me , lol- I like to be different and Wes is one of the guys in the team I like.

Hey hey....I actually did some scrapping last night . I think part of the problem is finding enough photos to scrap as well. Shaun is on a "no pics" trip and does not allow me to take photos of him, no other relatives here ....you get the point. I can only take pics of events , work mates and of cause myself,lol .Plus getting back into other hobbies again is fun and makes a change. Anyway I have things to show.
For a start -Shaun has a motorbike. Here is his mean machine -and let me tell you, I plan on getting one as well eventually.

Then , reading blogs last night I came across Minky's and the challenge -so I downloaded the mini kit and got busy with it. I can show you a preview, the quickpage I will offer to Minky to put up if she wants. I changed the colours , used my own frame and added some overlays and swirls.

And Goth is not so much Gothic anymore , I'm actually wearing more bright colours now. I made two layouts , the first pic was taken 3 months ago , the second one last week.
Layout 1 I used my Disco kit.

For Layout 2 I used my kit "Softly", there is a distinct difference in the photos - the second was only taken with my phone. But I was really in mischief mode then. Anyway- I have come home from night shift and need my beauty sleep now , so till next time :)

Hi, yes-I'm still alive , no I'm not on vacation,lol. Just not in the mood to design or scrap sitting on the PC for hours. But let me show some pics I have randomly taken of my activities.

In the moment I'm just baking a bunch of Whoopie Pies and already finished the filling for it, a Marshmallow Cream concoction which is just looooovely !Then there's tons of movies to watch.... the new Harry Potter , the new Transformers, The Avenger .... tonight is Psychic Night at the local Center , Friday another band playing at Notleys. All this in between work and you can be sure I am not getting bored.
