Autumn Symphony elements freebie

Hey again :)
Back with the other part of the kit !
Yesterday was a rainy here, so I did what most woman love to do best and went on a shopping trip to Yarmouth.
Having lost more inches ,not weight as I exchanged the fat for muscle which actually weighs more, I need to replace some items in my wardrobe for smaller sizes.
That's my excuse to buy new clothes for autumn and winter...not that I need an excuse , but it sounds good, lol.
And I really like the fall colors and check flannel shirts they got in the shops now, so I ended up with 2 of them in different colors, plus a lovely dark green sweater and jeans.

Plus I ordered a pair of ankle boots from Amazon , so I'm ready for fall.
September is the month Reggie passed away 2 years ago, and although I'm over the "bursting into tears" part , this month still has me remembering him all the time ...with a smile on my face, but a little bit of sadness and missing him.
So I dedicated two of my pictures to him this month.
Silhouette and lettering
Zentangle moon and lettering

I painted a watercolor galaxy as background for the challenge prompt "somewhere out there" and noticed I need a better brush for writing with gouache paint. Live and learn ,lol
I won't put myself down for something that didn't turn out as I imagined. Next time I will try a better brush ;)
And the challenge prompt "Fall boots" certainly turned out the way I wanted :) I used Tombow dual tips for those.

One thing I love about fall is the warm spicy scents. I know you get a lot of artificial pumpkin spice stuff , but I prefer natural scents from essential oils and rather make my own mixtures to use in my oil burner.
So it was time to stock up on my oils ...
With just a few drops you can create a lot of different scents :)
Mmmmmh....I love the small of autumn !

Anyway.... Freebie time !
Here's the second and last part

and I will dig another kit out for you . Do you like word art ?
If so ...here is another surprise freebie I made from a few of the Art challenge prompts used in my drawings and lettering . These are CU, so you can use them to put on tags or other ways . Enjoy :)

I think the fall and winter trend in clothing is rather nice too.
I always have loved checkered shirts at the moment i don't have them, but Jan has some in all different colors and patterns.
May be next month I can find one or two shirts for myself.
Your boots look great and warm too.

I can understand you are remembering Reggie this month, I think you always will, because he was really a soulmate for you. But there is nothing wrong in remembering, and now you can do that with a smile. And yes, you will be missing him always, he will never leave your heart.

I think today I will use up our last self-grown tomatoes in a salad LOL. Jan already started to clean up some pots and assemble the soil of them. Mixed with some fresh the soil from the pots can be used again.
Soon I will have to prune some bushes down and prepare the garden for fall and winter. And I am cirious to see if the parakeets will return. I kind of miss them LOL.
Have a wonderful weekend and week ahead!
Hug
Kyra

Fall is one of my favorite seasons too. I love the temps and the gorgeous colors. I love those plaid shirts too. I had a favorite one and wore the life right out of it. Every time it got a new hole, I put more duct tape on it. (on the inside of the shirt) Pretty soon almost the whole inside of the shirt was covered in duct tape, and I finally had to let my shirt die gracefully. Michael used to laugh at me for taping my shirt, but oh I did love that shirt!

Kyra is right. After a while, we can remember our loved ones and smile at the beautiful memories. They are always with us.

I'm not usually one for word art, but your kit with word art is really nice. Thanks, I'll try to use some of it.

My daughter Deanne just got a pair of shoe/boots similar to the ones you are showing here, just without the fur on top. She loves them. I can't seem to be quite so enthusiastic about them. It's just too much shoe for my feet. My feet don't really like being all covered up like that.

Well, I'm off to find some fun mischief to get into. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
