Another part of the Thanksgiving freebie....or a lost part has been found :)

 Hello again ,

I'm back sooner than planned , but for a rather good reason. You know that Thanksgiving freebie I posted on the 25th? I knew there was more to it , I just didn't know whether it was lost in the computer crash years ago or whether it had just disappeared somewhere else. Well, I found it :) 

So after my nightshift recovery nap this afternoon I got to work and also brightened the colours up a little , made the preview, zipped and uploaded the lost folder. You won't believe how happy I am that I found the lost part ! 

But before I give you the link some other news.

Same as the Autumn series kits , the Winter kits will also slowly take you through the season. It starts with going from Autumn into the Winter season , getting colder , how nature changes its looks , the things we do as the weather turns and the special Winter days and occasions coming . 

And before you wonder....yes, I also have a kit journey planned for the coming Spring and Summer. This really is a year long scrap kit journey 😏

Thanksgiving/Autumn freebie

 Hi everybody,

I'm in full autumn mood ! It's my favourite time of year , apart from Spring. I just love the colours and cosiness that comes with it. The nights are getting cooler , but the days are still pleasantly warm. Although I got my winter slippers out. My toes were starting to feel the evening chill a little , and I'm not too keen on having cold feet :) 

 It was time to get out some autumn decorations. I don't go overboard with seasonal decorations , but I do like the odd piece in my home. Preferably handmade -no plastic! I'm trying to reduce my carbon footprint and reduce damage to the environment. These days global warming is the talk everywhere. It's sad that it took so long for people and governments to start acting. I've been doing it for years now and pretty much grew up being "green". But better late than never , just hoping it's not too late for our planet earth.

I'm all for reusing and repurposing , so I made a little pumpkin decoration which can be used for many years to come . 

And the dried grasses and reeds in the little vase are 100% natural. 

I found a hidden back-up folder from an old computer on one of my external drives. It was a pleasant surprise to find a couple of half finished kits I started to design a few years ago. So the past few days I worked on completing them....finally. 

Yeah, it's a summer kit , but it's another freebie kit you'll eventually get :) 

And the next Valentines kit is done as well. 

I started this when Reggie was still alive. Then when he passed away I was grieving and could not bear to work on it. But now, after 7 years I finally completed it. So you could say this kit is a little bit "special"  

And while scrolling through all the old files I also came across files of  an old collab kit. This was only available for a short time back then. 

So I brightened the files up a bit as they were rather dark and decided to make it available as a permanent freebie.

Weekend Freebie parts again

Hey, I'm back.....and I survived the Fashion show !It was a successful chaos. 20 woman in a small overheated room with poor lighting , getting changed while the guys from the room next to us walk through to get on the cat walk. roflmao....some woman next to me standing there in bra and knickers screamed when one of guys walked through :) ... it was sweat breaking, stressful , absolute chaos ...but what a laugh ! One small mirror with 20 woman adjusting clothes and hair,Shaun almost tripped off the stage having to take off a sweater,Model Dave posing in the door in boxer shorts and a crowd of woman staring and cheering(we had models in their 60ies as well)-chaos in the back while everything went perfectly at the front. £330.00 were raised in a couple of hours (approx.$532.00) for Help for Heroes ....not sure how much was contributed to the bar , but Tracy even held on to her wine glass while getting changed and judging from Shaun's moan the next morning they must have had a good quantity of alcohol sales. The "Palmers dragons" trying to keep order ....a hilarious but successful night ,rofl :)
Sadly so far I have not come across any pics of myself yet. but I found Shaun and took some before and after the show.

 ughhh....I look like a bingo lady,lol

  Shaun however.... well, he scrubs up nice,lol.

In the next one he is talking to me...I'm just out of view.

I have been designing as well and almost got another kit ready ...here a little teaser. I don't know about you, but for me Winter and cold weather is the time to get cosy, hot baths, pampering , hot chocolate, chilling out on the couch or bed watching movies when the whether is bad. I meditate and relax more than I do in summer.So I wanted a kit which still goes well for Winter pics , but also shows a kind of tranquillity and peace.

Lol, I'm only a little way away from you...the most easterly point -Lowestoft/Suffolk. But I have strong ties to the USA, which is why you will always see me incorporate their holidays as well. Oh, and I'm German....or rather a "Brit GerCan " as my best friend Deb in Florida calls me :)

It's official....I'm insane ...

...I must be ,lol! I agreed to be model and strut the Cat Walk at the Mayors Fashion Show . It's going to be a busy week ! On Monday Shaun and me have to go to Palmers to be measured up , Tuesday early shift , Wednesday Halloween party in the evening after early shift , Thursday fashion show ... I'm not sure if any other appointments will come up. Tone's Hair designs and Tranquillity Spa are sponsoring the show -most likely they will do the make-up and hair for the night. So at my old age I will be strutting my stuff up there ...bahahahaha...OMG ! Well, it should be a fun night.
So today I have t start to pretty myself up a bit ....my roots are showing, so I have to get a pack of hair dye and get that done , a bath and I can't have hairy legs,lol ...
Anyway, I was creative again and got busy on a hybrid project. I created a my own canvas with paper, stamping and embossing. It was a mess with all the powders and ink ,but I like the result.

 It's getting cold here ! And with Sandy on the way a lot of my friends are preparing for the arrival of that hurricane. Be safe , where ever you are !
My cats are also feeling the cold coming .... how can I tell? They spread out on the heater ...taking turns...

Apart from Sam ....his new favourite is to balance on top of the TV ... can't be comfortable!
