Christmas Freebie kit is starting and Mini Kit release

 Hello again, 

I'm back already :) If you have not noticed yet, I have been posting almost weekly with new kit releases and there are freebie samplers up for grabs as well. So if you missed the last posts scroll to the earlier posts to download the samplers. 

I've been working on a few smaller kits and the first one is out in the store today. It's my absolute favourite of the new Christmas designs so far. It's called "White Christmas" and yes, it's mostly in  light off white shades. 

What the hell happened to the darker gothic style I used to favour back in the past ? 😀

I got older ,I guess. And my taste changed. I still don't give a damn about what is trendy or not , but I definitely prefer lighter shades now. 

That doesn't mean that I will never design gothic style again, but lighter colours are more flattering as we age.

Black and Silver Christmas Frebbie

Yes...hello...I'm back :)
First of all, the second download from last week has been corrected. Thanks for letting me know about the mistake :) If you scroll down to last post you can now get the zip file.

So what have I been up to?
I actually remembered that I promised to show my newly decorated bedroom.So I just crept upstairs and took some pictures. I call it my "Stargazer Dreams " room … oha...that sounds like a nice name for a new kit !

Cushion love ! I have a thing for woodland animals and constellations :)

I saw this lamp online and with 30% reduced I just had to get it :)

This lamp contains glitter that swirls around as the lamp heats up the fluid. So relaxing when the glitter particles make reflections on the walls and ceiling :)

My hanging decorations are old ones, but I rearranged them a bit.

Christmas freebies are starting :)

Hello,
I decided to post a few days earlier as today is my last day off work. Tomorrow it's back to routine and I will have less time again.
Also , it's a rainy day here -ideal to hibernate and paint :) And I have been busy !
A) I visited my parents and Christmas markets in Germany

Mmmm...that mulled, spiced wine and eggnog punch :)

B)My Christmas tree is up

I went for white and gold on my mini tree his year . Yeah, I know ….it isn't much, but that's how I like it. I'm not someone who does tons of decorations in every room. Not outside either. Minimalism is me :)

And C) I had time to paint ! A lot !

Winter Solstice kit , first 2 parts

Hey all,
quick post before bed to give you the first 2 parts of my Winter Solstice kit.
Overtime days have started and I seem to spend more time at work than at home right now. But only until after Christmas , then it's back to normal again.
I did a few drawings , but not as much as usual due to lack of time .

That's all ...so I get straight to the downloads now.

White drop shadows applied to give a frosty look , but you will get all parts without shadows.

More Christmas kit parts ...

Hi again,
Time to check in and post the next parts ! I'm off work this week and finally have time to get a lot stuff done I normally don't easily find the time for.

I just had a look through some of the old pictures I did when I first started the art challenges and I can definitely see improvement :) It's true , practice makes perfect,lol.
I have the  ISKN Slate on my wishlist for my birthday , so with help of that little gadget I will be able to digitize my future drawings and paintings .Can you imagine that? I can add my own drawings and paintings to kits !!!

Christmas freebie starts

Damn.... I just noticed 10 days have already passed since I posted last. Double damn , how the time flies when you're busy ,lol.
I normally wanted to be back within a week , but always something else came up that I had to do .

Hope all of you who celebrated across the ocean had a nice Thanksgiving and peaceful Black Friday. I didn't venture out to the shops at all that day , but did plenty of online browsing.
As a result I ended up with a half price Soundbar and subwoofer, and a new cooker to be delivered in about 2 weeks.
The Soundbar already arrived today and I had fun trying it out. "Chuckles" I will never be able to turn up the volume and bass fully ,unless I want the guy in the flat underneath to fall out of bed from the vibration ;)
I also put up the Christmas tree. I decided to downsize this year. Instead of the 6 feet green tree we had for years I went and got a little 4 feet white tree. Space saving , no need to move any furnture out the way and looks utterly cute ! And it fits on top of the corner unit in my living room.

I'll be working over Christmas , so this is perfect ;)

As usual I have been lettering and drawing by taking part in Dawn Nicole's challenges.

This one was the prompt "Rainclouds"
For this I tried out the new metallic STA brushpens I ordered for under $8.00 from Ebay. You can't really see the metallic sheen in the picture , but I'm very happy with this set of metallic pens.
