Awhoooooooo...... new kit and sampler in Store

Lol, morning everybody;
hmmm,guess you're wondering what the "awhooo..."is for. Well, 2 things really - a) I have the Ostara kit plus sampler in store and reday set up, b) I'm just listening to a song which makes it rather hard to sit still and the awhooo is part of the song,lol.
Anyway , absolutely gorgeous weather again here and the temperature is perfect.I had to get myself a new pair of sunglasses yesterday because it was so bright. And -just to rub it in ...this is how I was out yesterday.Yup, warm enough to wear a short sleeve t-shirt !

Well, this is what's in Store now.

 Plus the free sampler and a CU pack of bunnies as well. (without the grass and flowers, they are preview only)

About f*****g bloody time ,lol-I'm back with February freebie part

Hi , just got router set up and got connected again, First task was to upload the free part for February....rather later late ,lol...but better late than never. You can pick it up in the forum http://magickalscraps.forummotion.com/t145-february-2011

Next task will be to get the Store open again and a few new kits uploaded. But I'm in no hurry with that. And then March free part as well , I suppose. Not too sure what is happening with March download , been off for so long.But this would normally be my free part...we'll see...I'm dreading to get into my e-mail account -how many are there going to be? I will read the last 3 days, the rest later.....much later..."sigh"...or tomorrow.... or maybe next week.... "groan".... or I might just use the sweep action which deletes them all....only kidding ,lol

Anyway,I'm off for now-weather is far too nice to get stuck at the PC. I will reserve sitting at this desk for dark evenings or rainy days,lol.I can finally post some music again ...whoohooo .... this is what I go mad with in the moment-makes a great work out,lol....let's shuffle !

Sunny,yeah !

Wow,we have great weather here,I was even getting warm in my jacket. I have just picked up our new router from the Post Office.I deal day to take the 30 minute walk. The weather certainly puts people in a good mood.On the way I had a fit biker shout "hey curly" and blow me a kiss,on the way back  2 High School students passed me and called me Katie Perry...yeah right-as if,lol. The sun must have fried his brain! So....anytime tomorrow until midnight I should be back online...if I can get this modem installed and set up...it's a miniature,lol...about a third of the size our old one used to be. Let's hope it delivers the promised speed. Anyway,here some pics to put you in Spring mood,which I just took on the way. Hugs Snowy

Good morning again

yawn...just waking up with my first coffee. Yesterday was a mellow day for us here.Shaun has caught Nick's flu bug,so he is coughing and didn't feel too fantastic,I killed a Chocolate bunny...Snowy the Ripper,watch out ! ...and obviously our Ostara Dinner....yummie. By chance I came across some fantastic photos on FB which gave me the idea to download,print and frame them.But obviously normal boring frames are not enough,so I'm working on making them look more interesting again. Dreamcatcher production is on hold until I have more supplies again,I have run out of materials and need to do an order. My new modem should come this week,so once I'm back online I can search for supplies. Shaun seems photo shy in the moment,unless he can look cool,but I have some shots from yesterday while being busy in the kitchen...including knife in hand,ready to work on the meat,lol.So I made a couple of layouts last night with them...Snowy the Kitchen Witch.
And now I have things to do again,the Cleaning Fairies never show up so I just have to do it myself.

Short post today,I'm busy in the kitchen. Leg of lamb in the oven,but still the rest to prepare and cook for later. I got up quite late after going out to look at the moon last night and after that I was still busy up in my room. Hope you are all having a nice weekend,the weather here is lovely.

Evening Post

Hi,it got a bit later than originally planned with my post.Dinner took quite a while to prepare and cook,plus waiting for Shaun to be home from work. If you cook everything fresh without using pre processed food it takes a while longer,but so worth it. You will not believe what I found in the store here! Snowy is in Chocolate heaven...drooling...going almost orgasmic....whooohoooo...Hersheys! I couldn't believe my eyes....bars...Hersheys Kisses...oh Mama mia...yum! Needless to say my thought was"stuff loosing weight a few days...time for a treat" I was still good though,maybe a bit too good. I seem to have pulled a muscle while doing my workout with the weights,so I have to take it a bit easy for a few days now. I also made the Equinox Blessing Jar I posted about,from Silverravenwolf's page.I took some pics and made them into two layouts.The images on the jar are all my designs and of cause my little Raven,which I printed and cut out.The jar contains lavendar,camomille,rosemary,mistletoe and I added lavender,basil and vanilla oil as well...apart from the other items.And the "Butterfly" I was working on is finished as well. As you can see I keep busy enough even without Internet,lol. So now I will post these images and then I will have a look if I can see the Supermoon. Even though it was nice all day the weather forecast predicted cloud cover for tonight.This is one of the occasions where I pray that they got the forecast wrong. I'm sitting here writing this with a huge grin on my face. Snowy is up to mischief ! After Kyra left the comment regarding the sock monster I thought "yes, I do it !",so I have just dowloaded a pattern for it from the link Ravenwolf posted on her site.(clever Android phone let's you download ) Now for getting all the materials together and sewing it....Shaun will have a lovely sockmonster on his birthday! I can't wait to see his face. Of cause it will be wrapped up very well with lots of paper and sticky tape so he will have to work to unpack it,Mother ready with camera....priceless...hahahah. Oh dear,I'm so bad,lol.Ah well,the next day is April fools day,so the timing fits quite well,I think. (she says with an evil laugh).....poor Shaun....mind you,he got me last night! I think I have to wash my ears better. This is what he put on Facebook :I thought I had a dirty mind....I said I want to watch "Paul", she thought I said "Porn".....my answer to that: Well ,my son,at least you know where you got your dirty mind from. Needless to say we both had a few giggles about this....oh come on,the words sound very similar,lol.....just wait...the sockmonster will get you!
I actually spent a bit more time designing last night,after I cleaned up the mess I left with glue and glitter from working on those eggs...not finished yet, but here two more quickpages from the Wedding kit.And that's it again,time to get busy in here and get ready....after this coffee!

Getting close to Ostara....

....and I still have not finished all the eggs as decorations yet.About time I get some more done! Luckily I have time off work now,so I can concentrate on that now with more time to do it in. Despite only 3 hours sleep after my last night shift I got the bathroom including the cat toilets cleaned, did the kitchen,dusted,wiped the floors and stairs and changed the bedding.So nice to sleep on clean and fresh smelling pillows and sheet again.Call me fussy,but I change it quite often...well,I have the habbit of sleeping in my baby suit....ie. naked,and sweating during the night makes it more necessary to change more often than with  wearing a Pyjama. I tolerate it when I'm absolutly freezing,but otherwise I feel too constricted and get too hot (specially if you have a living heater,also known as species of man next to you) Well,the only male visting me in my bedroom is my cat Sam on occasion,lol,and even he gives off enough heat. I even had enough energy to go out for a short walk and catch some fresh air in the afternoon,but after that it was time to calm down. A nice hot bath and to bed early.This morning I'm full of energy again and ready to start the day....after this big mug of coffee though. I have just read SilverRaven Wolf,s blog and love the idea with the "sock monster",but I have no one to give it to. Besides,most kids are so spoiled and not happy unless they get a brandname toy or a new game for their Playstation/X box.Talking of presents...I need to get something for Shaun.My lanky teenager will be 19 end of this month and isn't so lanky anymore. He has developed a six pack and arm muscles...and shows it off whenever he can to impress the Girls. It used to be baggy sweaters and jeans,now he specially buys a smaller size so it's really skin tight.And sleeves have to be short enough to show the tattoos...Shaun the Poser,lol. As bouncer he meets plenty of Ladies,so far 340 contacts on his phone,ranging from 16-34 years....I jokingly call him "man slag".Reply with a grin:I don't wanna know what you got up to in the USA.....damn him!I can't win,lol.....Do you think he would appreciate a sock monster for his birthday? I bet his face would be worth it...hahahah...anyway,the work on the wedding kit for my friend slowly goes on,some more done and I made another quickpage. I sorted through my craft books as well,all nice and tidy on the shelf now.Here is also the full size pic of Sam,thanks Edna,I love how this photo turned out.Today it's  time for some more laundry to do,and I will take a walk to the market as well.So have a great day,I certainly will enjoy my time off work.Hugs Snowy

Night shift posting

Hi, sitting here at work keeping myself awake with plenty of coffee. I slept half the day,which is why I post so late...or rather early-it's almost 2 am here. Watching the news was depresssing today,yet another explosion,radiation, strong aftershocks which seem to affect Mount Fuji...if that Volcano goes off as well ....then Bahrain declared by the King to be in a state of emergency,more fighting in Lybia.....to top it all off,the Olympic clock which was only unveiled Monday evening in London stopped  counting...bad omen or what?Brrr....in the end I heard enough negative stuff and turned the TV off. On a positive note I lost another 2 pounds. Regular exercise and living healthy are helping,instead of chocolate or cookies this is my snack for the night. Melon,Apple and Banana fruit salad.
More done for the Wedding kit I was working on and a layout with my Sam.He is not supposed to be where he is,but looked so cute I just couldn't tell him off. Shaun is starting his new job today, so I give him a wake up kick out of bed when I get home later,and then I will crawl into bed myself. Here the images,and I'm off for now.Will post again when there is something to show or tell.

Loving Spring !

Hi,it's another beautiful morning here,temperatures supposed to go up to the 50ies today. I'm lucky I have time during the day,I don't start work until 11pm tonight. Just having a break while writing this post on my phone. Floors wiped,dusted,laundry done,20 minute dance workout and 20 minutes Pilates with added weights done, now get my breath back and then a shower. ...and it's only 10.30am...damn,I'm good,lol ! Watching the news is not so good,those pictures from Japan are horrible to watch ! Those poor people need all the help they can get. I have donated a small sum to do my bit as well.
I have been spoiling myself the weekend. My old handbag was falling to pieces so I splashed out for a new one,plus several t-shirts,a blouse,matching thin scarf....you get it ,lol. Retail therapy...don't do it that often,but it was worth it as I managed to grab all these bargains in the Sale. As for psychic developement,Reiki...etc....I keep getting messages via dreams,synchronicities and else. I keep a Dream diary and note everything down in a notepad as I get the messages...also via Oracle cards,thoughts and other signs. The latest message I made into a layout last night. All these will be part of my digital Book of Shadows,a seperate chapter which shows the journey.Plus a pic of work in progress.So now I upload all these pics,and then I will grab my shower...I'm sweaty and surely don't smell nice after this session. Snowy is tired,lol. 2 nights in a row I got very little sleep and kept waking up-bloody early shifts always mess me up! But luckily I'm now back to late and then night shifts. Did you watch the news about the earthquake and tsunami in Japan? So many lives lost and so many missing still, it's horrible.

Tired...ughhh

This Witch is tired today,these damn early shifts always rob me of my energy. I don't mind early mornings, but I kept waking up last night and by 04.30am it was not worth it going back to sleep for just 30minutes. So I'm back home now, cup of tea and hope it will give me enough energy to make my way into the kitchen and cook our dinner.It will be an early night for me....that is sure!

Slowly getting there

Hooray! The new phoneline is in  and working,just spoke to the Broadband provider and as my old modem is seriously outdated I'm getting a brand new one as well. I will have almost double the speed when it's finally all set up. And unlimited downloads...not just a certain amount each month. Otherwise I have been crafting again...well apart from eating icecream at the beach,lol. I was ready to throw the sewing machine out of the window last night. I was working on fabric which is not only thick,but also has an embroidery pattern. 3 needles broken, the thread kept snapping....you can imagine the sort of swear words coming out of my mouth. But  finally got it done with a special denim needle. Here the result and one of my decorated eggs.
And now getting ready to go down to Life Cycles...Snowy will be cycling and getting a nice new bike and I'm waiting for this new handsome post man to bring me my Amazon order after he scared the life out of me driving past me and beeping his horn the other day....and grinning through the window seeing me jump,lol.
