Just a quick post before bed....

...because I have the next pack of beasts ready - meet Mr Hippo ....

...and I got the main preview of the kit ready, although I'm still working on a few more pieces, but as usual it won't all fit on the preview. But this is it -I guess 3-5 more days and  it will be done , I still have a few more animals to do.

Plus the detailed previews need to be made before I can start to zip up and upload ...let's see how I get on with my time. For now I'm off to bed - I'm a bit tired as it got later than I had planned last night , and I had to be up at 5 am again this morning. As usual  when enjoying a chat with someone we couldn't find an end again, plus the time difference means a lot of my friends only just start to come on to Facebook to chat when I'm almost ready for bed. Last night I got stuck on the laptop chatting with Eddy again. lol. Luckily it's back to late shifts tomorrow. Oh , and I got my Patriots Jersey today -I'm so impressed ! It's fantastic quality and looks great.
But for now it's snooze time , quickly say good night to Nikki  who is on at the moment and then I'm off ....nite nite,lol

And part 3 of new designs

Hello again,
just quickly popping in again to show the next stage of design for the kit I'm working on.....the zoo is getting a bit fuller. This time it's a cute Leopard.

And yippieeeee......I have Thursday off!!! Thanks to David and Roy who are between them covering my shift for me. So I can go to the Airshow and watch the football at night. Oh, and Lady Gaga will be in Lowestoft and in Hush Nightclub.Shaun is trying to find out when, and if it fits into my spare time we'll go and see this weird Lady,lol.
I do have to admit , I really like her new song-catchy !
  As for dating -I'm giving up for the time being, too many douche bags around and I am not willing to settle for anything half hearted. I rather be happily single than unhappy in a relationship again. I lost count how many I met and not a single one of them has the qualities I'm looking for.

Well- here I am again !

Lol- don't get too used to it. I might be posting daily again, but it might not last.
Tomorrow I'm back to work and on those hated earlies as well, to top it all off. So I'm making the most of the last hour before bed and quickly post the new addition to the kit I started.
Today was a shopping day, stocking up before I'm back to work and I hit two Stores which are having a sale in the moment. Ended up with a pair of Palazzo Trousers, Jeggings, and a pair of charcoal grey jeans which will be perfect when it comes to autumn time.Plus a pair new slippers and a sweater. The whole lot only cost me £20.00 , which is roughly $30.00. A real bargain day , so I was doing my "happy dance" ,lol. I also bought another book about crystals together with 3 new chrystals and my favourite magazine "Spirit and Destiny" was out new.
But this is the new addition - tubes and quickpage with it.

My friend Matt- bless his little heart (well for a 6 foot man it's not so little I guess) has offered to look for a Patriots baseball cap for me and send it over.
He lives only 30 minutes away from Foxborough and even helped build the stadium.
That will save me a lot of money. If I order it from the USA it will not only cost me more postage and packaging , but I would also have to pay tax. This way it will be a hell of a lot cheaper.Wicked !!!!
Let's see when I find an hour again to make some more stuff for the kit , for now it's a case of getting my work stuff ready and then off to bed for my beauty sleep. Hugs from here :)

Just had to reply,lol

Hi again, - after receiving Kyra's comment I just had to reply and post again. When was I ever a good girl? Well.... until about 3 years ago I was , until I was corrupted .lol.

Anyway , just thought I let you know what I've been up to this time. We had a power failure for two hours last night after thunderstorms in the area. But luckily a laptop has battery power.So I was sitting there by candle light playing - not much else I could do with limited light.
So that's what I cooked up this time. Rrooaaarr..... this Pussy-cat is just too cute.

And the quickpage I made from the pieces so far is looking fab as well.

And with that I'm off again. This kit will be growing , but slowly !
Starting Saturday it's more overtime, 60 hours for the weekend and coming week.And Thursday and Friday will be the annual Lowestoft Air Show again. I will be working a 12 hour night shift on the Friday, it still remains to be seem if I can have Thursday off as planned. I hope so , because on Thursday night is supposed to be the first Pre-season Pats game ! The football season is starting. And I'm waiting for the Postman to bring me my parcel -I'll be in Pats style,lol.I have ordered a Patriots Jersey. It was a toss up between the number 12 Tom Brady and  Wes Welker.I went for a Wes Shirt in the end. Everybody seems to have the 12.You know me , lol- I like to be different and Wes is one of the guys in the team I like.

Would you beliieve it?

Hey hey....I actually did some scrapping last night . I think part of the problem is finding enough photos to scrap as well. Shaun is on a "no pics" trip and does not allow me to take photos of him, no other relatives here ....you get the point. I can only take pics of  events , work mates and of cause myself,lol .Plus getting back into other hobbies again is fun and makes a change. Anyway I have things to show.
For a start -Shaun has a motorbike. Here is his mean machine -and let me tell you, I plan on getting one as well eventually.

Then , reading blogs last night I came across Minky's and the challenge -so I downloaded the mini kit and got busy with it. I can show you a preview, the quickpage I will offer to Minky to put up if she wants. I changed the colours , used my own frame  and added some overlays and swirls.

And Goth is not so much Gothic anymore , I'm actually wearing more bright colours now. I made two layouts , the first pic was taken 3 months ago , the second one last week.
Layout 1 I used my Disco kit.

For Layout 2 I used my kit "Softly", there is a distinct difference in the photos - the second was only taken with my phone. But I was really in mischief mode then. Anyway- I have come home from night shift and need my beauty sleep now , so till next time :)

Hi, yes-I'm still alive , no I'm not on vacation,lol. Just not in the mood to design or scrap sitting on the PC for hours. But let me show some pics I have randomly taken of my activities.

In the moment I'm just baking a bunch of Whoopie Pies and already finished the filling for it, a Marshmallow Cream concoction which is just looooovely !Then there's tons of movies to watch.... the new Harry Potter , the new Transformers, The Avenger .... tonight is Psychic Night at the local Center , Friday another band playing at Notleys. All this in between work and you can be sure I am not getting bored.

Sales and Wilderness !

Hi,lol
whoopeee.... I stopped in town on my way back home from work today because my favourite shop started the Summer Sale today. And I was lucky ! Came away with a bag of nice clothes worth almost £ 70.00 for only £ 20.00. As I was told by our "Bride-zilla" after she saw my pic in the cream coloured dress to wear more lighter and brighter colours instead of so much black I chose this today...well , there is a bit more,lol.

And what the hell happened to the small herbs I had in my kitchen?Despite cutting down regularly I now have a Wilderness on my windowsill.

 It's a nice little storm here with Thunder and rain , but needed !It was so hot and humid the past days , so hopefully this will clear the air a bit and cool it down .

I have a few more new pics, but will leave those for another day. Gotta have at least something to show while I'm not designing. So for now hugs and till next time

Still alive and kickin'

Good morning everybody,
I'm still around, just doing other things in the moment besides working a lot of hours. It would normally be another day off for me today ,but I am going in for some more overtime. Snowy needs money for her Driving License and other things,lol.
I have not designed anything since I completed the last kit "Disco lights" , in the moment I am reading a lot. During the time when I couldn't afford much I missed out on new releases of books which I collect, like the Anita Blake or Merry Gentry series. So now I am slowly catching up and ordered some via Amazon. So instead of playing on the PC I tend to go to bed early and read.
And I found my dress for Christine's Wedding in August. Lol, I took some pics in the changing room with my phone.

Almost 8.00 am , I have already done the floors and had breakfast. Now I will grab a shower, get ready and catch some sun before I have to go to work again. Till next time -Hugs Raven

OVERTIME

Hi all, just checking in to say I'm still around. Sickness at work requires more overtime and I'm on 72 hours this week.Needless to say I don't get much done. But the money will be coming in handy ....I think I need a flight to New York soon ! ;)
I normally wanted to show some pictures , but Blogger seems up to some tricks this morning and won't let me post a photo. So that will have to wait. Instead I will now get ready, see if a certain person pops up to chat this morning? and get my work done.Will have to take a nap later as I'm working nights again.....and let's see if Blogger is back to normal when I next pop in. Back to normal...well, if you can call my life normal,lol

Hi all, the 12 hour marathon shift weekend is over, thank the Goddess. Last night I was in bed before 9.30pm  after those two 12 hour shifts , and I must have fallen asleep as soon as my head hit the pillows. Today it's a normal 8 hour late shift. I have already started to tidy and clean up in here after doing practically nothing all weekend. There just isn't enough time if I get up at 4.30 am and work till 7 pm. So it's "catch up" time again. In my limited free time I have been going through a lot of my old magazines which have been building up. I cut out articles with information , spells etc which I want to keep for further reference and the rest goes in the bin. Now it's a case of  filing those I want to keep into a folder. I want to get some index pages and sort them under different subject names so I can find them easily later.
My sage is growing nicely , I have already made some smudge sticks.

On Friday I met up with a fellow "apprentice Witch" at our local store and also did some shopping in the morning. Some things I just couldn't resist to get..... some more crystal bracelets in moonstone, clear quartz, smokey quartz, mother of pearl, lapis crystal plus some others, incense and a really cute little Buddha book. I will use the book to write in my favourite Buddha quotes and it even looks great on my little meditation altar.

I have also just ordered 3 new books at Amazon- can't wait till they arrive.
Time is running away as always , I still need to get some things done and then get ready for work. So until next post for now.

I managed to get the new kit all ready last night, it's uploaded and in Store now. Plus the freebie sampler as well. Thought I better get it done before my two long shifts at the weekend come up. Energy !!!

Hi all, nope-no design updates today , I was far too busy for that,lol. I had hoped to catch a glimpse of the eclipse last night , but it took place far too early in the evening where I live. The sun wasn't down and it was bright daylight and we also had some clouds about in the sky. But the full moon later in the night was beautiful. And the energy just amazing. Most in our little group at the Wiccan Connection made the most of it. Crystals and salt recharged, rituals and most of said they could feel the energy. Nikki even said she has a full moon overdose , Jaedyn is feeling it strongly and I have been buzzing all day. Just a shame I couldn't take pictures of the Eclipse ,I would have loved that. But I took some other pics -this is full moon mood and preparation.

Bucket of fresh salt , I had run out last week -so the new supply had to be charged as well.

 Some of the crystals already unpacked for charging, the rest is still packed in bags, next to my Rosemary plant.

Candles on altar , everything being cleansed and smudged.
..And more candles ....in front of one of my designed pictures which I printed out a long time ago for my bedroom.

Today I was using the energy inside here.It's raining and I used the time to clean my windows (inside), wash the curtains, floors are mopped, beds changed, it's dusted ....now I only need to get my salt and sage smudge and I have it all done. In between chatting on Facebook-Julie is happy that the Bruins won, Scott wants me come to Maine to clean his house as well,I made a few new friends-Talisien in Texas and David in Ohio.  Tomorrow I will be meeting up with a young Witch in training. She joined the group a couple of weeks ago and lies here in the same town. So we'll meet up at our local Spritual/Wiccan Store and go browsing through the goodies together.And that's all from me now again. I will have to prepare dinner soon. The finishing touches

Hi and good morning, I can't believe I was awake before 7.00 am on a day off when I can sleep longer,lol. But it gave me time to be creative already and do some last things for the Disco Lights kit. And I had to clean up my tattoo and put some fresh healing cream on it. Yup- I finally had it done yesterday. It took Ron almost 2 hours to do and there where some fine bits to do like the pentacle on sword hilt. This is the first step - just the outlines. Quality of the pic isn't too good as it's just a mobile phone photo.

 And at the end before we wrapped my arm up , the finished tattoo. You can see how red and sore it is there ,lol.

It will look completely different in a few days once it had time to heal and colours will show properly. They are mixed up with blood in the moment still.
Well, after all that I thought I deserved a treat.Toffee Apple Cider - a drink for a Goddess ! That stuff is so yummiee !!! And it made me sleep well,lol.

Shaun brought it home a couple of days ago, but I kept it in the fridge until I was off work.
This morning I made the main preview for the kit, now I still have to make the detailed ones and then it can go in the Store. This is the main one- there are too many elements in the kit to fit them all onto the preview.

And now it's time to tidy up here. Tonight is full moon and we have a total Eclipse , I plan to be out for that and watch. That is if the weather holds and we have no cloud cover. In the moment it's lovely and sunny -let's hope it stays that way ! I need to get new salt and will have to charge it , and my crystals as well during the full moon tonight. So that's me off again for now ...keeping busy as always. I already have the music on to get me motivated,lol. I'll be swinging my butt to Jennifer Lopez new song "I'm into you"
