Hello everybody ,
I hope this will post as scheduled.
I have never done a scheduled post before so I thought I give it a try to get the new freebie parts to you in time.
As you read this (hopefully on time) I will be abroad on my much needed vacation. :)
Downside to this scheduled thing is that I don't anything crafty to show. My last days before I fly are filled with travel preparations. But I'll catch up when I'm back again .
So let get straight to that new freebie kit.
I made this years ago, but it has never been published before. Those who know me closer , know I used to make a lot of designs based on real life occurrences, moods and feelings.
This one used to be a very personal kit , based on coming out on top of a rough time. Going through my stash I felt it is right and okay to share it now :)
Enjoy and I hope it will you the same hope, peace and love I felt when I designed this kit :)
There are 4 parts to this kit. You'll get 2 today and 2 more next post.

See you all when I'm back :)

Sick sucks ... and more Freebie parts
Good morning...
or good night, wherever you are :)
For me it will be good night soon , I only came home a little while ago working night shift. And ...oh boy.... it totally wore me down.
I've had a bad cold for the past days , but working last night wasn't a good idea, it seems . This morning it's worse and I feel dizzy, one moment hot , the next minute cold.
Getting old sucks ! This wouldn't have effected me like this a few years ago. The mind says "go girl" , the body " what the hell do you think you are doing?"
So... I quickly post this and then to bed !
I took part in the last Macramé challenge and made another plant hanger.
As decoration I added blush pink tassels .
As for that plant , it's definitely not a real one :)
I made it myself.
It's a crochet plant and very simple to make. All it takes is chains and treble crochet in popcorn pattern. The base inside the plant pot is brown double crochet around a pair of balled up old socks . They had a hole anyway , so it's a great way of recycling , by using them as a "filler" :)
This plant will be perfect in my dark ,windowless hallway :)
Apart from making more gifts for X-mas (which I can't show for obvious reasons) ,I got out my warmer clothing. Early mornings and nights are already quite cool here , although it still warms up nicely for the afternoons.
Last night I was happy I had my warmer coat on.
Ok.... let me get to the download links now.

http://www.mediafire.com/file/7i6490mc6p1xw3b/sr_oncecinderella6.zip/file
These are the last 2 links , so the kit is now complete. Next post there will be a new Freebie it starting again.
And now for self love and tender loving care ….meds and sleep for Snowy . I'll be back , hopefully feeling a hell of a lot better than now :)
Stay crafty , peeps

Ooops...late again ...sorry :)
…so I was sitting here and thought I do my blog post a day early , as my weekend will be over and I'm back to work tomorrow.Only to discover that I'm actually nearly a week late. Sorry ! I guess I was so busy that the days just flew by and I was convinced the 2 week posting day would be tomorrow.
Hello :)
I really need to set myself a reminder so I don't keep forgetting to post on time.
I really am a busy bee in the moment. Next month I will be hopping over the channel to visit family and friends in Germany. To save on postage for Christmas presents I will be taking them across with me ...if I can get everything finished in time. Some I buy , but I also make things myself , and that requires time. So every spare minute I'm not at work is used to plan, prep and make currently.
Obviously I can't show what I make either... as some sneaky people might hop on here and look at what I post :)
But I have another scarf for myself ready as well...
This one is knitted in triangle shape.
It's a very light yarn, so perfect for the first cooler autumn mornings or evenings when the wind here at the coast starts to blow.
And by the looks of it autumn isn't far away. The Horse Chestnut trees are already changing colour. They are always the first here to change, followed by the Cherry and Maple trees.
I'm looking forward to autumn. It's the time to get "hyggelig".
This is what "hyggelig" means :) It's a life style I am definitely adapting !
And have been for a while... screw overtime at work and stress.I've done my part and now with almost 52 I feel it's time to calm down and let the younger ones do the extra hours. I'm making the most of my free time by doing just what I like.
That means a tea/hot chocolate or glass of red wine, sitting in my rocking chair with my yarn and music or a movie, at my desk relaxing with painting or other crafts and shutting the world out .
Warm bubble baths , soft cosy blanket evenings in pyjamas on the coach with a good book when it gets colder , wrapped up warm for autumn walks in the woods or along the beach , candle light, the flickering of the fire (even if it's electric ) and mulled wine to warm up after a walk. Not to forget pumpkins... yup, autumn can come.I'm ready for this :)
Isabella from @two_me is starting another 3 day macrame challenge on the 27th.This time it will be a plant hanger. Of course I'm taking part again.I have done plant hangers before so it's not really anything new to me , but it's fun to work in a group with others , even online.Plus there will be a price for the best one in the end. I already have a picture in my mind what to do ....
I'll post pics of the progress and the finished project next post.
And I wanted to say thank you for all your comments. Really appreciated.
But now the next download links for you.

And the start of a new freebie again :)
Good morning :)
I have been up since 6 am and already cleaned the kitchen, bathroom and mopped all the floors. Why so early? I wanted to get most of my work done by the time the sun gets higher and the temperatures rise.
I can honestly say I am ready for autumn and winter now. I've had enough of hot days and sweaty nights.
But my plants are loving the weather.
Look at this Zucchini /Courgette plant ! It's almost as tall as I am ( 1.64 m or 5'6" )
I also finished painting the stairs ,skirting boards and bannisters in my hallway. During a shopping trip with a friend I decided to add some decorations. As there are no windows , but I still wanted the look of plants and greenery, I decided to get some artificial ones.
The green is definitely what was still missing !
The wooden leaf and the green candle holder fit well on this shelf :)
And I just couldn't resist this industrial style table lamp for my cosy corner. This will give me plenty of light in the evenings when I sit in my rocking chair ,knitting, reading or crocheting.
But I have also been busy creating …..
I finished my "Shawl in a ball" . This is from Lion Brand yarns and you really only need one ball. The original pattern was in crochet, but I opted for simple knitted garter stitch instead.
I still have another ball in a different colour , so I might do the crochet pattern for that one.
This is another "shawl in a ball" project. For this I used Lion Brand Ferris Wheel yarn to make this colourful snoot scarf.
And I would like to put a pattern designer into the spotlight today.
Stephanie from All about Ami https://www.allaboutami.com/patterns/
does some wonderful knit and crochet patterns for free on her website. I have already put a few projects from her onto my "to do list "
And I even got 2 small paintings done !
A simple Dusty Miller leaf
And a common thistle.
I think I promised a pic once I had picked up my new glasses....my son says I have the Cruella De Ville look :)
And yes, my hair is also shorter. It was getting too hot and I was sick of having to put my hair up each day.
But now it's freebie time !
This is the new freebie kit. It used to be a store kit but now you can grab it for free.
Here some more detailed previews.
Here the first two links (there will be 6 in total)

Last part of "Seashells"
Good morning :)
….on this lovely sunny Sunday .
I'm up bright and early .It's only around 6.30am and I love this time of day when everybody else is still in bed. It's peaceful and I get most things done in the morning.
Here's a bit of news for you. Designcuts https://www.designcuts.com have opened a Scrapbook section in their store.
It's been a few years since I heard of a major website opening for Scrap design goodies. Does that mean Scrapbooking is coming back into fashion? It was huge when I first started scrapping and designing , then, one after the other, sites closed because the demand wasn't there anymore. Until only a few remained. It would be nice to see a revival of this art.
Obviously for some of us scrapbooking and designing has never really stopped. We are the "scrap oldies" and we could maybe even call ourselves the "hardcore scrappers" or the "professionals"
Well, I don't have much to show this time. I have been knitting with the variegated yarn and got the back and front of a jumper finished. The first sleeve is a third done. I will take a pic when it's finished.
There wasn't much time as I have painted the stairs and skirting boards in my hallway. Today I will finish off with the 2 bannisters and then I still have a few doorframes to do.
But I got myself a rocking chair :) The perfect cosy place to relax/ knit/crochet or read. I added a fur blanket and cushion for comfort . How cosy does this look ? I had to move the sofas into different positions to fit the chair and you won't believe the dust and crap which collected underneath. So my Livingroom got the second spring clean this year.
Well...short post ...I will be getting to the last freebie part now, and next post will be the start of a new freebie again. I already got it loaded up , but you will have to wait and see :)
Here is your last link for this kit.
I'm so happy you enjoyed this kit and thanks for your comments.

And the next parts for you...
Hello again from the crafty cave :)
Nope, I'm not hibernating , I'm busy as a bee ! With the nice warm weather here the plants are thriving , but it takes regular watering with these temperatures. If you ask me 20 degrees C is enough , it doesn't need to be hotter. (For those on Fahrenheit , that's eighties temperature )
About 3 years ago I bought a little plant in the £/$ Store. It was tiny , a little larger than my middle finger. But it grew.... and this year it's finally flowering :)
I love the Passionflower ! They are such beautiful flowers.
I wonder whether they will get any fruit in this climate?
And I took advantage of the many sales online and built up my yarn stash. This Flurry reminds me of candy floss, and it's wonderfully soft as well.
I had to try it straight away and I have to say it's not a smooth yarn you can knit fast with, but oh so worth going a bit slower. And it does not need a pattern. The variegated and textured effect of the yarn is enough.
Unlike this cotton yarn which I used to make a crochet table runner. I love simple cotton yarn. It's so easy and fast to work with. And simple ! Double crochet all the way through.
I hadn't done lettering in a while, but this was one of my "to do" list items. Simple watercolour stripes as background and a quote which has meaning to me.
That's all I had time for besides work , but I have some vacation time coming up soon. I shall enjoy 2 weeks off work and just do what I love. Not going anywhere this time, but later in the year will be another trip to Germany to visit family again.
Right.... time for freebies !

Start of freebie kit "Seashells"
Good morning :)
Well, it is here where I am. Sunny and blue skies , Sunday and I'm actually off work for the weekend. (which only happens once a month )
Yesterday we headed down to the beach for the First Light festival . My Fitbit told me I had walked over 14.000 steps when we got home and I could feel it ! I was actually glad to be back home and sitting down felt like heaven :) Coming off nightshift yesterday morning and only a few hours sleep meant I didn't have the greatest amount of energy. But I sure slept well last night .
As I didn't get anything done in here yesterday , it means today is cleaning /laundry day. I'm glad I woke up early and was able to get a lot already done while it was still cooler outside. Now it's getting warmer and UK houses don't come with air conditioning. All we have are fans to keep us cooler when it gets hot in summer. Mine will surely be on later because I'm menopausal hot stuff anyway :)
I showed a picture of the started Crochet basket in my last post …
...this is what it looks like now. I added a white macramé border at the top.
And Granny's dish cloths are the best :) Small enough to fit into the handbag and work on during my lunch breaks at work.
And this doesn't fit into my handbag anymore. I'm knitting a jumper in pastel colours to go with my new pale lilac jeans. I'm using Paintbox chunky pots , a variegated yarn. It's great because you get all those colours in one ball and don't need to change colours to get the stripes.
Do you hunt for free patterns like I do? I'm on an app called Readly where you can get all sorts of magazines. Obviously my favourites are all sorts of art and craft mags. Then I take screenshots of the patterns and instructions on my tablet. I also get patterns and ideas from Pinterest and various blogs. If there is no download option taking screenshots works just as well.
I ended up with numerous folders with pics categorised by Macramé, Knitting, Crochet,Recipes , Painting etc.... Problem: Screenshots were saved as png files and they can use up quite a bit of space.
So what I'm doing now is to create my own little e-books. It's dead simple !
Open Microsoft Word , create a new document , insert pictures (those screenshots) , then save as pdf file. And voila , you have a pdf e-book with your patterns which takes up a very small amount of space on your computer. If you want to print out instructions just type in which page (s) you want to print. And if I want to take it with me without printing, the files can easily be copied to a tablet or even my phone. You can even create an index for the first page , so you know what is actually in that pdf file/e-book.
OK. I didn't get time for more paintings this time , so I will get straight to the new freebie kit now.

Last Sweet Violets part
Good morning ...
on this sunny lovely Sunday :)
We had a spell of rainy days and strong winds here , but today it's nice before the rain returns tomorrow for 3 more days. At least that is what the weather forecast tells me today. We shall see whether they are correct.
I'm not too bothered about it because I will be starting my nightshifts tomorrow. So I will be asleep during the days anyway, and by the time my shifts are done and I'm off for a few the weather should be nice again :)
Hopefully it will be! I need to do some work in my little garden corner. But the rain is certainly helping and doing those plants good. I don't need to water them every day and they are thriving. So do the weeds though :)
I have decorated my hallway and love the new wallpaper ! The gold toned leaves really pop out from the charcoal grey background. And due to the white furniture it's not looking too dark.
This was a real bargain. Each roll used to be £ 15.00, but I was lucky and got them in the sale for just £ 1.00 a piece.
Apart from doorframes , bannisters at the stairs and the stairs themselves, my little home is done for a few years. I will tackle those in July when I have leave coming up.
I made this macramé hanging for one of the walls in my brand-new hallway. The colour theme is grey, green and gold (added white for the furniture, skirting boards, bannister, doorframes) and I have green and gold leaf decoration around. So this moss green, grey and white macramé fits right in with the colour scheme.
As an added useful deco item I am also crocheting a storage basket. This is still work in progress, as you can see. I will post another pic of the finished basket when it's done.
Yesterday I also took the time to work on a loose floral watercolour challenge.
This is "Sweet peas"
"Yarrow"
and "Greater quacking Grass"
My plan is to make a nice collection of botanical loose paintings , scan and enhance them digitally , and make them into png files for my scrap kits.
Right.... freebie time. Here is the last part of "Sweet Violets"

For the next freebie kit I have decided to put up "Seashells"
Half of this used to be a freebie in my store years ago , the other half was a store kit to buy.
Well, I gave the lot a little make-over and decided to make it the next freebie kit. So if you downloaded this as freebie years ago , you will now get the added store part free as well. For those who missed it back then , it will be a whole new kit. It never had a complete preview either as it was published in parts. So now I made a kit preview as well.
So this is starting next post ….
until then ...
...as always , stay creative :)

on this sunny lovely Sunday :)
