Hello ,
yes, I'm a day late again...I call it nightshift lag. That , and the fact my son believes in sharing and has given me his damn cold ! Believe me , it's no fun to sit there, having to stay awake all night with a stuffy head , coughing and your bones aching.
Needless to say I came home and fell into my bed, half comatose as soon as my head touched the pillow.
So with that going on I had no energy to do much.
But there's light at the end of the tunnel for me.... one more night tonight and then I have 6 wonderful days off. Time to rest, recover from nights and cure myself of this cold.
The annoying thing is as usual that I have so many things I want to do, which will have to wait a few more days.
But I got some projects done before the bacillus attack hit me :)
This macramé star is made entirely from leftovers/cut offs from previous projects. I don't like to waste the macramé yarn , so I kept the cut offs in a cardboard box and used up quite a few on this project.
And another macramé star (number 3) , this time made of half square knots and I added a tomte ( Norwegian gnome) . Why so many stars? One will be hung on my door, the other 2 will be window decorations. Still sticking to my " no plastic " natural themed Christmas decoration plan.
And I managed to get this crochet project completed as well.
I did get busy on the laptop as well and started to design a new kit , but so far I only have a few backgrounds done. I'll show a bit of the fit once I have a bit more done.
Talking of crochet: I have added another project on the Patterns page. It's a lovely blanket in 8 parts I found and I posted the links for you. It really looks gorgeous and I'm putting it onto my to-do list for later.
But now to the next two download links for you.

One more link next post , and then another freebie again.
And now I have to get ready for this last nightshift.
PS: Your comments are always much appreciated :)
Until next post , stay creative :)

More Freebie parts again
Hello :)
I'm actually posting a day earlier this time. It's my last day off , tomorrow, on Sunday my shifts start again. So I thought it's best to post while I still have the time :)
And I've been creative again !
We're coming up to Christmas time soon , so I have been busy to make some decorations. My aim is to have no plastic decorations. Only natural and environmental friendly materials. I don't need plastic and harmful tinsel to have a cosy and festive home.
Talking of cosy …..
….my blanket is finally done ! It took me just over 3 years but I'm glad I stuck with it. So worth the patience and work :)
This is also an "old " project from the back of my shelf. It sat there a few years and now I have finally completed it. My Tatty Teddy Advent calendar.
It's all cross stitch , with little pockets to put some sweet treats in.
Cute , hey?
I made this Macramé Christmas tree this morning. I saw a similar picture on Pinterest but there were no instructions with it. No problem....I made my own instructions and I'm very happy how it turned out :)
And lastly - Whenever I do a Macramé project I have lots of cut offs. Now this yarn isn't cheap, so I don't like wasting it by throwing the smaller pieces away. I actually have a cardboard box where I keep them in.
Today I used some of these shorter pieces to make some hanging tree decorations.
2 slices of dried orange , in-between the macramé cord and a string for hanging, glue together and ready are my new decorations :)
They also smell really good ! And if the smell fades , a drop of orange or mandarin essential oil on each slice will bring the smell back .
Oh yes, I promised to show some vacation pics....
...well , here is one I used in a layout. Or rather 2, because I used the Autumn tree pic and faded it into the background. I also used a warm filter on the main picture to give a real autumn feel to it. Kit used is the currant freebie "Golden Fall"
That's my mother and me during one of our walks on a lovely warm day.
And now to the freebie links
The second folder of backgrounds
