New freebie Summer Meadow

Hello again :)
Glad to be back on here to give you a new freebie !
I'm finally off work for bit and that means I have time to catch up with things I had to neglect for a while.
I don't want to complain because health wise I'm really lucky, but getting older definitely means having to slow down and not having as much energy as I used to have :)
I'm really jealous sometimes of those who got to stay home on 80% pay for two or three months. Yeah, I'm glad I have a secure job , but I gladly would have swapped the "essential worker" status for a little less money and a bit of free time. But I'm on leave now. Time to relax and chill , and just do what I want to do :)

So what have I been up to since last post?
For a start I purchased some brand-new design  resources. Once the weather turns bad again in autumn /winter time I will have plenty of stuff to create some new kits. I'm saying autumn /winter because I don't spend much time on the computer during the nice weather months.
But I have been busy crocheting and knitting, which can easily be packed in a bag and taken to the beach or a shady park bench, to spend time outside ,now that we are allowed to do that again.
So "bag" is the keyword. I have taken part in Stephanie's crochet-along (CAL) of the Camellia Tote bag.
Free pattern here or purchase as pdf : https://www.allaboutami.com/pattern-camellia-tote-bag/

There is also a Facebook group for this CAL ,where we share pictures and help each other if somebody has a problem .

This is my progress
First the oval base of the bag
The first two of 4 side panels
...and finally the finished bag. I love how this turned out and even have plans to make a second one in a different colour.
Then I also worked on another crochet tartan scarf. The crochet is done first and then the tartan gets woven in.
Link to free pattern is on the Pattern page now.
This will be very cosy when the colder weather comes again :)
My current project is a Fringe cardigan. It gets knitted with two strands of yarn on very large needles. This really shows off the texture of any simple pattern.

And I have been out and about....
...cycling along our coast here.

Pretty picturesque, huh?

But enough of that now. I have a new kit for you. It's called Summer Meadow.
And here come the previews....

I'm giving you 3 links today and the next 3 links will be next post

Enjoy ! And if you make any layouts or quickpages shoot me a link. I like to see what you do with my designs :)

That's all for now.... more things to do :)
So stay creative and until next post in 3 weeks time

Hugs Snowy

Hmmmm, getting older isn;t always fun LOL!
Yes, i wished I had the same energy as I had around my 40's, or even early 50's.
That tartan scarf looks great! What a patience, making the weaving!

It is nice to be able to get out, the more as the weather plays along with some nice temperatures and some sunshine.
Have a wonderful free time now, make the most of it.
Hugs
Kyra

Love the photos from your walks. You've really been busy. Your new tote bag is beautiful. I'm looking forward to seeing the sweater when it is finished. Your new kit looks lovely, thank you. I really do need to get back to making quick pages. Enjoy your time off, hugs, Edna B.

I've moved and it's taken a while to get resettled and unpacked. Of course, the moving truck took 23 days to get my life back to me. It wasn't his fault, my daughter put delivery for 7-1 instead of some time in June. I arrived on June 1st with a blow-up mattress to sleep on and one suitcase. Thank goodness the 1st is a payday.
I'm relocated and running pretty smooth so I'm checking all my friends to see that they aren't getting exposed to any of this horrible virus that's going. We thought we might have been but after the testing, we came out clean and negative. Hopefully, you and your family & friends are doing good also.
I want to thank you for the kit Summer Meadow. I can use this for some new pictures.
Be Safe and Be careful.

First, I want to complement this site administrator for creating this platform for us to express our feelings

I frequently get cold sores(which lasts for 5-6 days on my lips and its painful both physically and mentally) .. As a bodybuilder, I basically get outbreak due to the daily pressure and heat in the body.. Recently I stumbled upon my salvation. I found a herbal remedy to cure hsv completely, in just 4weeks ..

I got to know about Dr Utu after seeing a lady's testimony online. I reached the doctor and I ordered for herpes herbal medicine. He sent the herbs to me and I started making use of them. In just 2days, the cold sores are cleared. 4weeks after medication, I went to the hospital for test of cold sores and it was completely NEGATIVE.

By following every prescription, i was able to cure my cold sore in less than 4weeks. 100% natural herbs no after effect.
Note: Please do let others know if this work for you.
The doctor's email is drutuherbalcure@gmail.com
Note : follow all instructions accordingly..

If you are sure that you have benefited from this African herbs be courageous to inform others.
Thanks in advance
