Hello ,
I'm back with the last freebie of this year .
We already had "our Christmas" on Winter Solstice day . No , I didn't take any pictures . I just wanted to enjoy the moments and relax. It was hard enough for us to find any time together due to work , so we had to make the little time we had count.
I myself will be working on Christmas Day , and so are my son and girlfriend.
But I might show some of the lovely gifts in one of my next posts. Not to forget , my birthday will be coming up within the first week of the new year as well :) ….more gifts...:)
So no pictures or long stories today . But from me here in UK to all of you …
….and I will give you the freebie straight away :)

Black and Silver Christmas Frebbie
Yes...hello...I'm back :)
First of all, the second download from last week has been corrected. Thanks for letting me know about the mistake :) If you scroll down to last post you can now get the zip file.
So what have I been up to?
I actually remembered that I promised to show my newly decorated bedroom. So I just crept upstairs and took some pictures. I call it my "Stargazer Dreams " room … oha...that sounds like a nice name for a new kit !
The theme picture
Cushion love ! I have a thing for woodland animals and constellations :)
I saw this lamp online and with 30% reduced I just had to get it :)
This lamp contains glitter that swirls around as the lamp heats up the fluid. So relaxing when the glitter particles make reflections on the walls and ceiling :)
My hanging decorations are old ones, but I rearranged them a bit.
That star was a gift from Kyra http://smiekeltje.blogspot.com/
years ago ….yes I still have it :)
Also the Patriots snuggie from Edna http://missednasplace.blogspot.com/ is still in use :)
My knick- knack corner with favorite things
Plants are a "must have" in my life
And my bed companion Tatty Teddy :) Don't judge, lol…. I don't have a man in my life to cuddle with :)
So there... you got the bedroom walk around .Not that there is much to walk because the room is actually really small :)
With a few cold, stormy and wet days I managed to get a few paintings done for the monthly #things with flowers challenge on Instagram.
Presents
Bells
Star

Christmas freebies are starting :)
Hello,
I decided to post a few days earlier as today is my last day off work. Tomorrow it's back to routine and I will have less time again.
Also , it's a rainy day here -ideal to hibernate and paint :) And I have been busy !
A) I visited my parents and Christmas markets in Germany
Mmmm...that mulled, spiced wine and eggnog punch :)
B)My Christmas tree is up
I went for white and gold on my mini tree his year . Yeah, I know ….it isn't much, but that's how I like it. I'm not someone who does tons of decorations in every room. Not outside either. Minimalism is me :)
And C) I had time to paint ! A lot !
#Things with flowers -boot
#Things with flowers- Bauble
I found this Watercolor book by chance in Germany and started with a floral pattern
#Things with flowers - candy cane
This one was inspired by Pinterest. Saw it , painted it ...with my own added bits though.
And this is todays freebie. It's a mini kit ...but don't fear, this is not all....there will be more freebies over the time until Xmas :)

"November" freebie
Good morning :)
Today I have a new freebie for you again. Well, it's an old one ...but it's free :) I thought the "November " kit is perfect before we move on to Christmas.
But before I tell what's been going on in my busy life.
2 nights ago I was sitting on the couch ,reading, when I got a message alert. I thought "Who is messaging me this late ?" So I grabbed my phone to have a look.... and I got this :
I was stunned....I really didn't expect this! But it will help a lot. I usually pay monthly for the membership , so this will safe quite a bit of money next year :)
Time to do more painting :) ...hoping to find the time !
I have also been busy doing some home made bath salts, lip balm and Cup Candles.
Do you know how easy it is to make your own lip balm?
For 4 of these little tins you warm up 1 teaspoon of cacao butter, 1 teaspoon shea butter, 2 teaspoons sweet almond oil and add a few drops of whatever flavour or essential oil you like. I choose orange essential oil.
Melt, stir and pour into the little tins. Once it cools down your lip balm is ready. That easy !
And you know what is in it ...no artificial, chemical crap , just pure goodness.
My bedroom had its make-over, but I have not had a chance to take pictures yet . I will do that soon. Today is my last shift and then I will be off work for 2 weeks. So looking forward to some relaxing time with family:) I will be working on Christmas day and New Years eve/New Years day . So I will have to make the time before the Holidays count.
Currently I'm making my hard earned cash count in the Black Friday Sales ,which have already started here. I made a few 50% off bargains already. A new fit bit (my old one was falling to pieces after 4 years of daily wear). Some nice warm jumpers and trousers. Winsor &Newton watercolors (45 colours , down from £89.00 to £29.99 ) and some half price smart plugs. It's like an early Christmas for me :)
Anyway … the freebie now.
You're getting a whooping 28 backgrounds with this kit.

The last parts of Gordon's kitchen
Hello again,
After a 12 hour nightshift I have recovered today and caught up on plenty of sleep to do my blog post.
Gordon's kitchen finally comes to an end today with the last downloads for you.
So what have I been up to apart from work since last posted?
For a start the never ending (it seems) sorting out of clothing which is too large now. I keep finding items when I put them on to wear. My work colleague is happy. She buys them for cheap of me , so I get at least a little cash to buy new items, but still... I struggle to replace them this fast ;) And there were a few moment when I wanted to cry because they were firm favourites in my wardrobe. And I am not keeping them if they don't fit properly. They hang on me like a large tent.
Guess it's a good excuse to buy new clothing. :)
Irina ,over on Skillshare , is doing a competition.
So I got busy and painted "Misty Forrest" from her latest class.
Also I got inspired by this picture. It's been 6 years since I did my bedroom, and with all the rooms downstairs nice and fresh I really want my bedroom upstairs to look new as well. So I guess that's my next DIY project.
But I started the morning with a different kind of DIY. I made Beeswax candles. There is nothing like the natural honey smell from authentic beeswax ...mmhhh, I want to lick them :)
I'm also in full Christmas present buying mode. I hate how early they start with Christmas stuff in the shops, but I also see the positive side of it. Get in there early , spread the cost and avoid the last minute crowds and stress.
And that brings me to value of presents. It's supposed to be a family holiday , not a money spending "who has the most expensive brand name present" occasion. All through the years I have always refused to be part of that. No, I won't buy an expensive I phone or I pad when a cheaper android version does the same job. I taught my son that if he wants something like that he will have to get it himself and earn the money for it. I know families who max out their credit cards and get into debt just for Christmas. Then they spend the rest of the year to pay it all off , only for Christmas to come around and do the same again. Seriously? Is that really necessary? Alcohol sales go up sky high as well. Do people have to get drunk to celebrate? I'm not a religious person /Christian , but I value Christmas time as a family time and it's nice to exchange some gifts. I like the homey and cosy feeling the Christmas decorations give, without going over the top and creating a horrendous electric bill due to massive light decorations.
Keep it simple, use decorations from natural materials and think of the environment, please. Make some gifts yourself. And value the family time and good food instead of making it just about the presents.
So... that's my own Christmas message :)
Now it's time for those downloads.

3 more Gordon's kitchen parts for you
Good morning ,
I normally wanted to post last night after work , but it as been such a busy day that I only wanted to chill and go to bed after I finished my shift at 11 pm.
But now , after a good nights sleep I am ready to write my blog post ;)
I have finally sorted out all my winter clothing and half of it was too large after loosing about 10 kilos so far. Luckily one of my colleagues likes my style and bought most of it from me. So at least it's not a total loss and I got some cash for it all to buy new items in a smaller size.
It's so nice not to have to go to shops searching for larger sizes ! I have so much more choice now , that I'm down three dress sizes.
And I feel great in these new things :) As I don't do a diet as such (just cut out junk food , smaller portions and moving more ) it's taken a while , but better slow and keeping it off than loosing the weight quickly and piling it all back on once you stop the diet !
What has kept me most busy the past weeks is my patchwork woolly blanket. It sure has grown a bit …
I'm half way done now. Normally it would have been 12 x 12 squares, but I decided to make it larger and do 18x12 squares. Also, I want to add a border once all the squares are together.
I also finished another kit. Here is a preview and 2 quickpages I made with it.
I have 2 more kits in the making. But that will be a little while still until they are finished.
Winter is coming and no garden work , which means I will have more time to be creative again :)
It's still quite mild here during the day , and I'm still picking tomatoes and cutting herbs to dry or freeze. Weeds always threaten to take over and there hasn't been much rain, so I still have to water the plants in the moment.
But let me show you what's up for grabs today.
More food

The Kitchen appliances

More Gordon's kitchen to come ...this one for example...

Back with yet more Gordon's Kitchen
Hello again....
Time for another blog post ! And I have been busy ….
Apart from work I have managed to get a couple of started paintings done , still doing some gardening work , sorted out the warmer clothing and books , sold some clothing which is too big (I'm still loosing weight, no diet though...just healthy eating, moving more and a lot less junk ) , brought what isn't needed anymore to a second hand /charity shop, knitted more squares for my blanket and spent the rainy afternoon yesterday with a good book on the sofa ;) Gotta have time to chill with some cookies and hot chocolate as well …
Today I bought a new clear storage box for my sewing threads and sorted all the stuff I have. I found I definitely have enough safety pins and needles to last me for the rest of my life, I think.
And yes,I also have an old fashioned button box . This girl is old school :)
This is my ling room /creative corner when it's tidy....
….this is the current state though. Work in progress. It's so nice to finally have enough room to spread out .
This is one of the finished paintings from a Skillshare class with Irina. Can't you see I'm getting into Halloween mode ?
And do you remember the video tutorial with 3 easy landscape paintings I shared weeks ago? Well, I finally completed the second one.....one more to go. The last is a winter snow scene, so I think I will wait until it gets a little colder to get into the winter mood , before I have a go at that one. Let's stick to autumn for the time being :)
I really have to catch up on some blog reading. The last months ere so busy with all the renovating and decorating I barely had time to be on the computer. And I'm not a person who sits or walks around with her phone in hand all the time.
Anyway.... let me show a few more previews from Gordon's kitchen.
Today we have food....
Kitchen charts ...one for weight loss , if you're working on that , and one meal plan chart . Plus another zip file with frames , bows and ribbons for the kit.
http://www.mediafire.com/file/uwhi86tw7xumhvj/sr_gordons_kitchen_food.zip/file

http://www.mediafire.com/file/sb9zsvy6ej960jr/sr_gordonskitchen5.zip/file
And there's yet more to come ! I have 7 more parts to upload . Apart from 2 more general element parts there's still more food , kitchen items , templates, Gordon tubes and kitchen appliances. Gotta have a cooker , fridge , microwave etc in the kitchen, right?
So there you go, a little sneak preview of what's still coming .
I hope you're enjoying this mega kit so far :)
Time for me to finish this post now....I have a cup of hot chocolate , some cookies and a few more chapters of my book on my mind now, before bed time.
Until next post....
Stay creative.
Hugs Snowy

And there's yet more to come ! I have 7 more parts to upload . Apart from 2 more general element parts there's still more food , kitchen items , templates, Gordon tubes and kitchen appliances. Gotta have a cooker , fridge , microwave etc in the kitchen, right?
So there you go, a little sneak preview of what's still coming .
I hope you're enjoying this mega kit so far :)
Time for me to finish this post now....I have a cup of hot chocolate , some cookies and a few more chapters of my book on my mind now, before bed time.
Until next post....
Stay creative.
Hugs Snowy
